Is "white passing" the word used to label people who are not technically white but kinda are anyway?

... Yeah not that I care, although she looks more like my mixed Spanish friends, but thats probably more so to do with the fact that she's filipina, since theres alot Spanish blood steming from the Spanish evasion of Philippines.

Although I was weirded out by the use of the word 'halfie' as one myself that word doesn't sit right with me, reminds of the racist bullshit people use to say when I was a kid.

ever since I listened to driver's license I wanted to find out more about her, at first I thought she was hispanic ( also bc of her last name) but now I can tell now she is partly asian.

She's not but disney has a history of using half asian, half black, half latino, etc..... people for diversity instead of people who are fully one race. It's not her fault or anything it's not like she can change her genes but most of the people POC who got pushed the most on disney, (Vanessa Hudgens, Zendaya, Olivia) are all mixed.

Like look at stuck in the middle, majority (if not all) the cast had a white mom or dad.
