LOL, they don't have to go back to the idol lifestyle. Big Bang stopped looking like idols a long time ago. They can still release music they love and be successful without having to go on music shows or promote. I don't know some of you are only looking at the money aspect, like GD doesn't actually like releasing and producing music.
OT: I think its just funny seeing the contrast between SM and YG. Shinee got out of enlistement and SM said " We already picked the songs, already picked your parts, get into the studio now so we can release it" and thats exactly what Shinee did. Big Bang has alot more control and seniority in their company, so they can probably wait as long as they want. -

I mean all 4 current members (and even the past member) have multiple black cards and businesses so I can see that being a possibility but they have showed up for the YG quarterly meetings for two years now and said they will be coming back at some point, they just keep pushing it back and we do not know why

They might also want some time off in general. Military service isn't exactly a vacation either.

What happened with Seungri in the end, he went from being accused of everything to basically being innocent of everything didn't he?
The Seoul district police are still fighting to try to have him convicted of something but the judge is reinvestigating everything the police did because they were found of forging and modifying 4 different witness statement documents. They also accused him of bribing witnesses to say they forged things but the federal anti bribe team has had his electronics tapped during the entire investigation and one police officer spoke up about some of what was going on in the case that his coworkers were doing to modify evidence.

Because he was the face of the case for the police department and every other person involved was convicted of something. They are trying really hard to get him convicted of something.
I am unsure as to what all is going on but South China Post has been keeping up with it very frequently and most news stations have been not allowed to attend the hearings.

It's strange if you have that much evidence of the police trying to stitch someone up then say in the UK it would be over now, how can they keep trying?

G Dragon has been the spokesperson for and the person on the label of China iced teas for 10+ years I would say they like Bigbang a little bit there.
And on the second part I am unsure honestly, the whole case has put me on a roller coaster as I used to be a huge Seungri fan and have an autographed album even so it broke me when the whole thing came out but I have stood by the statement if he is found to have participated in the horrible acts he should not come back but if he is innocent, he should be allowed to comeback

Taemin is enlisting at the end of May and THEY wanted to comeback together as soon as possibile because they know that.

.Waiting to comeback together as 5 or doing immediatly an album to have the chance of promoting together are perfectly fine choice of the members of the groups not the company. They are both senior groups not rookie

SHINee memebers have been working on this album on their military breaks. They have been cocollecting songs, rearranging each of them 5 or 6 times tailoring it to their colors. Only the title was chosen after everyone was out.
If your favs arent making a comeback dont take your frustrations on another group, take it out on their ever growing list of scandals
