What's wrong with Lisa's album sales on Hanteo?

    I know the first day sales alone aren't the best metric to judge overall sales performance. However, I still don't understand why it's stuck at 30K+ like, how?


    Also, the fact that no one is updating her sales numbers, none from kpop charts accounts on twitter and not even fans, is just really weird. I'm sorry, but it just feels off. Is there something I don't know?


    Could there be a shipment issue? Did Hanteo didn't count all her international sales for some reason? Are people waiting for another version or something big that I don’t know about? Or is her company just incompetent at handling her album shipping? There has to be some explanation for why her first day sales are this low because we all know there's no way she actually sold this little.


    Since it's Friday, that might have affected her sales to some degree, but still, this just feels weird.

    I'm thinking its probably a shipping problem, something to do with the leak or time difference. Maybe they aren't awake to start shipping as yet.

    On checking Hanteo's website, her album versions are there, and the ones in the top 100 add up to 29,131 so someone has started counting/shipping/selling but if others haven't updated Hanteo as yet, theres nothing to do but wait. https://www.hanteochart.com/chart/album/real

    First of all, it's Friday, and I'm pretty sure she doesn't have a real distributor in Korea. BLINKS can correct me if I'm wrong.

    You won't know her sales, unless she tells you the numbers or some other American platform, but Billboard only counts US sales. So, it's not gonna be easy to know the overall numbers.


    This happens if you don't have a Korean agency. You can wait for SONY if they release some info or not. Probably won't. She's much bigger on digital charts anyway.

    She has some hanteo afiliated distribution. Mainly chinese fans buy Blackpink and their solos album from ktwon4u but she and Jennie did not have preorder benefit on ktwon4u so both of there sales were stuck at 10k. Her chinese fan have not disclosed their preorders so we don't know. Plus Lisa has her own website so most of the fans probably bought from there.

    And that's why their albums sales doesn't really matter from now on! They're Western Pop artists, especially Lisa.

    This is 100% accurate! We said this already. It's weekend and people in Korea don't give a damn about her album. Simple as that.


    She should give an Award for that 1 person, tho. 😅


    I mean, even GD didn't sell more than 600 albums. The real problem starts if her numbers won't go up next week either.

    Her numbers are much lower than 3rd and 4th gen soloist originating from a big 4 group. it shouldn't be 10x lower than her first project. Plus, it should be that much lower than her peers. I enjoyed most of those projects more but numbers just seem weird to me

    From what I saw a lot of blinks bought it on her website so will hanteo shows the exact numbers? Obviously not.

    This is not just Korean sales though so your argument is baseless and you said a few days ago they count global sales and now your saying its Korea?

    Well, YG is not helping her now, and she's not promoting in Korea, and I'm pretty sure she doesn't have any real distributors in SK. If you count in all that, and the fact that her album is, let's just say, average at best, of course people won't buy it. Lisa was never popular in SK that much anyway.

    That's the other thing, but it's not Hanteo's fault if Lisa or anyone else don't want to make a deal with them or with Circle. Lisa clearly moved on from SK a long time ago, that's why she doesn't care.

    You misunderstand what I said. Most people who bought her album they did it on her own website, probably. The rest of the sales, this 30K or so, comes from other places! People in Korea obviously not buying her album, hence the low numbers. That's what I meant to say! Or do you think 30K comes from SK alone? No, it doesn't, this 30K comes from all-around the world from multiple websites.


    On KT4 she sold: 9822 albums including ALL VERSIONS!


    Don't know how many other websites people are using, but based on her numbers, a bit more than 20K comes from other places, including Korea! So, when I said, SK don't give a damn about her album, it's a correct observation, and it's nothing new, BLINKS know this for a long time.


    Also, all of them releasing albums now, and we all know that BLINKS don't support every member when it comes to album sales, your fandom has a real biases. To say the least. All I see online is that kids shading the members all the time. The normal fans have to pick a member, and that's happening now.


    Jisoo has her Chinese fans, but even they didn't spend the same amount of money like they did 2 years ago!


    Rose and Jennie have their Korean fanbase, and so far, Rose has the best ratio out of the 3. The decrease in her sales as not that big. Soon, we'll see what's gonna happen with Ruby Wan Kenoby!
