Well since I also believe 4th gen is ending I am just gonna explain why below, it's not a reply to you.
Idle's contracts are gonna expire in the next few months. Are they gonna disband? Or are they gonna re-sign with Cube? In simple words, their future rn is uncertain. Just like NJ. And even if they continue as a group idk if they are gonna be able to keep up with 5th gen. LSF are shaping up to be female SKZ, nuff said. That's 3/5 of the top 4th gen GGs, leaving only Ive and aespa.
This shouldn't be a problem cuz SKZ is still #1 for BGs and TXT improved their streaming game with Deja Vu but 2024 saw the rise of multiple 5th gen GGs such as ILLIT, BM, KIOF and QWER and 5th gen BGs chart MUCH better than 4th gen in Korea. There is a shift happening at least in SK and by next year the top performing GGs on Spotify will be 5th gen GGs.
It's not a stretch to say 4th gen is ending. And just because we say that doesn't mean we are jealous lmao. It's a fact. Anyone who disagrees can bookmark this post

What? 4th generation is barely 2 years old, it have a couple of years left.
If I would guess it's because the ones that like the 3nd generation groups never been a huge fan of any 4th generrations groups and now they need new favorites, but don't want them to be 4th generartion groups so they jump to a 5th generation groups, that have not even begun. So they need to wait at least 3-4 years more. Poor bastards they will be married and have children and forgen all about kpop by then.

The biggest NewJeans records haven't come remotely close to being touched. They have the most streamed album of all time in under 2 years, snatching the record from BLACKPINK. They have the all time PAK record. They have 200 cumulative weeks in the MelOn Weekly Top 10. First girl group ever.
I could literally keep going on and on.
None of the groups you mentioned are touching those records. Maybe the next next generation queens will.
