Sakura was already repping LV before NJ debuted. NJ have individual brand deals so they can't rep LV as a group, there'd be conflict of interest. You can't rep Gucci and LV at the same time. LSF's LV deal came long after NJ signed their individual brand deals with Dior, Gucci, Chanel etc. And Hyein has an individual brand deal with LV too.

This is why a multi-label structure is not practical in kpop. This practice is normal among all kpop companies. Are we not gonna act like a lot of luxury brand contracts that should've gone to BTS initially, are now with other HYBE artists including NewJeans? This seems so hypocritical.

wait aren’t you saying sakura was repping lv before nj debuted? and then the main deal came after?

in that case, going along w more claims about le ssera debuting first, my theory that if this is true it was a pre debut situation they were trying to work out. mhj is told she can’t work with LV groupwise bc HYBe wants sakura to use her connections at LV, she turns to other brands for individual deals , and then after NJ are off the table le ssera did a full group deal

The sad thing is le sserafim is now again going to get hate for all this when they did nothing, it's all hybe's fault. Seriously hybe set themselves up so bad with this mhj situation. Everytime something new comes out they look like a bigger mess.

So apparently Sakura had LV first. So by MHJ logic its hands-off LV for all other Hybe artists.

Then basically all NJs members got individual luxury brand deals, so its impossible for them to get a group deal.

Funny thing is, no one would've known all these had Hybe not make the whole issue public.

I'm sure this kind of shady deals is not uncommon in kpop.

How are people not seeing that there is currently a litteral smear campaign against lsfrm and all those random posts popping up pretending they keep stealing opportunities from NJ, attacking them because of their facial expressions, treating them like criminals for the most trivial remarks, etc are part of it?

Like do people really think trading deals between groups is not common practice within the industry and that NJ probably got some of their own deals like that too?

Is it not obvious there has been a blatant attempt of using any pretext to antagonize and vilify this group? Like people need to get serious 2 seconds and realize they are willingly participating in the bullying a bunch of innocent idols for no reason now.

Your post mad me check when hyein and lsf were announced as brand ambassadors. I was thinking they were talking about the LV contract between hyein and lsf. Unless nj had some deals going on before for a group ambassadorship and it got cancelled. But there is close to a one year gap between hyein and lsf announcement. Was it some other brand? Court documents do mention about the brand synergy stuff.

LV was working with Sakura since her debut with LSRF, I’m sure HYBE stole her deal so the entire group could be their ambassador, even YG did the same with Jennie & Sprite.

Honestly don't know who to believe but I've noticed that brand deals announcements can take years at a time to manifest so we can't judge from the timeline.

Usually Kpop celebs are seen wearing the brand for months and months, then they're invited to the fashion shows and then if they successfully create a buzz that they're considered for ambassadorship. This entire process can take a full year even with the companies arm wrangling from behind so I'm sure the talks happen for way longer then obvious.

I think lsf first appearance as a group was during a pre-fall show in April 2023. I don't remember anything before

My bad i thought they were debunking the lsf brand issue which wasn't mentioned in court documents

I'm guessing its Apple, and maybe its Svt thats why MHJ didn't reveal who, otherwise with both BTS and Svt fans against her, it will be tough.

Nowhere in the document provided by Hybe or in the court statement is it stated any deal was stolen from anyone.

That part is extrapolated by the creator of the original theqoo post and the official source has yet to be provided.

it is because the actual documents quoted say no such thing as "LSF stole a brand deal from NJ". That's the story the TheQoo poster presents based on their own speculation, just disguised as facts. The court documents are publicly available and while there are claims from Hybe vs MHJ re: some brand deal issues, the court says nothing about it except to say MHJ didn't act against Ador's interests or illegally re:Hybe's accusation. That's literally it.

All these accusations aside, I just think Hybe is a shit company. They didn't even have any real proof to start a legal battle against MHJ and in the middle of it they wanted to give NJ a military hiatus just out of jealousy and inferior complex and now almost all of their groups are getting attacked like they are beyond dumb.

I hope NJ and LSF stay strong bc the ones acting like victims here are also the same ones hating on the other part.

This couldn't get worse like.. company battle + fans = hate on the idols.
