How do you prefer aespa's music? Pre-LSM scandal or post-LSM departure?

I like their music pre and post LSM departure.

To be honest I don't think he was too involved with the music. He didn't compose the songs directly and only requested some words to be included in the lyrics.

The songs will still be the same, with some lyrics about kwangya and tree planting. Welcome to my world will probably have some lyrics about tree planting and drama will be about bringing drama into kwangya or something.

He was more in charged of general direction and themes which takes time to change. The next group that debuts will be when his footprint will be gone.

i liked before. their kwangya stuff was stupid but it was different and funny. i didn't like spicy or drama but welcome to my world was really good.

Both since I really like their rookie days and Drama/Welcome to my world. Spicy is okay.

Spicy is a song they had prior to debut.

Drama is the Tree Hugging song LSM wanted them to sing, and SM 2.0 changed the lyrics.

I like both, though if I had to compare their EPs

so post-kwangya for me

savage next level and black mamba were all on a level of iconic that none of these new songs can compete with.

I like both but My World is such an insane album that I'll go with post LSM

Their music style are always stable and solid quality. They just left out some Marvel fiction concept like Kwangya. Yes, those concepts were interesting, but not necessary.

Definitely post for me

I could never click with aespa pre-departure, on their music, their concept or the silly ai-avatars

But from Hold on Tight onwards I've really vibed with most of their music and haven't cringed at their concepts either.

There's pre-LSM/KWANGYA songs and post-LSM Aespa songs that I like, just as there are songs pre and post that I'm indifferent about.

I think it's great when there's some larger vision behind the song, comeback or concept of a group. It can give some added layer and richness.

The idea of an SMCU was definitely interesting - however, the idea of it was in hindsight better and more tantalizing than the actual execution of it, that sometimes really shined despite all the flaws, but other times just wasn't it and fell short.
