To think that group like Enhypen and Ateez especially for boygroups seems like having a world tour every single day, is it due to not being famous in Korea and only rely on Their international fanbase. Company make them go on tour because there are no job for them in Korea. it seems like they have spent more days on the plane than they have in seoul this year? like at least TRY to promote them in korea. doing a full three weeks music show promotion and collab stages/cover stages during year end award shows should be the bare minimum but they couldnt even do any of that because they are always going on overseas schedules.
is this the real reason why group like Ateez, Enhypen, LOONA etc have a never ending world tour?

traveling so much sounds exhausting

Kpop is not a long-term business. Most groups have a shelf-life, just by age, especially korean men who have to serve. Then factor in new groups, and not every member being popular enough for solo work.
If i knew i'd only have job security for about 7-10 years (if im lucky"), i'd be WANTING to tour my life away. Its not like they are working for peanuts. Is it alot of work? Yes, but they are compensated heavily for it. -

lotta money, little return

Touring is where the money is. They are the sole money provider in their company + they can actually sell those concert seats.

I don't see anything wrong with it at all. I say good for them and they should continue. They should go where there are demands for them. It's what I call good business.
As I remember clearly, BTS started that way. They were more recognized outside of Korea than from within. Eventually, that recognition came to South Korea when the world started talking about them. The rest is history.

That’s something people forget about but BTS were actually growing a local fandom alongside an international fandom. That’s why they were still doing 3 weeks promo on Korean music shows in their nugu era and it finally paid off. I Need U gave them that local breakthrough and Dope helped with their international breakthrough.

That's true. It's one of BTS many struggles. But to OP's question, it's a matter of business. If the groups she mentioned are not recognized in Korea, it only makes business sense to go to where the demands are.
There are groups who are popular in Korea but could not make it work outside of it with their abysmal touring results.
As far as Ateez and Enhypen are concerned, they should continue doing what they do best in places where they are recognized and appreciated and where people are willing to pay the price to see them perform in person. I don't know their touring over-all picture bec I don't follow them but it seems that they are doing very well.
They can do Korea promotion when their time permits but right now, they should strike while the iron is hot. Seize the moment.

Actually, most K-pop groups don't have the demand ATEEZ and Enhypen have and that's why they don't tour as much, not the other way round.
EXO's recognition in Korea is undeniable, but every year they were doing a different tour when they were at their peak. Lost Planet in 2014, Exoluxion in 2015-16, Exordium in 2016-2017, Elyxion in 2017-2018, Exploration in 2019. Why? Because touring is where the money is and there was demand.
