KOL is charting in the 150 right now, they started to gain traction recently. BM is moving like non-big 4 debuted group atp. Their Melon followers are not increasing as much and Batter Up has 12k likes. They need to get on the music shows, and it will help them chart in the top 100.
It be interesting to see how upcoming bigger company ggs like ILLIT, SM, I-land 2 going to do in comparison. It maybe the case that 5th gen ggs music and concept not clicking with public.

The discrepancy between this and the youtube views is crazy
Well it is English ballad. I don't know if it is supposed to chart well. The song did not even have MV teaser. Ballads rarely do well between casual listeners. I think the song is more aimed to their fans who want to enjoy girls singing voice.
This is just pre-release. I think their tittle track gonna do better for wider audience.

I don't get who is making these choices. First ive with all night and now this. Who looked at american charts (let's be real, when people say west they mean american) and though these songs will do well on charts. I have no idea who both songs are for. I guess for on one.
If it is promoted in Korea, then they will do well. I was expecting that they would, but they didn't. Lots of examples of promoted songs doing really well in Korea, but mid or flopping internationally. 
Globally it is on par with English releases for gidle and ive. Not good.

Boy groups are the ones charting and girl groups are the ones tanking 
It's not my favorite song, I liked it, but mostly because it's something different from YG.
Also, don't forget, it's a ballad. Baby Kpop fans, especially most YG stans don't like ballads, but this isn't a good start anyway. I said it a couple of weeks ago on AKP that Babymonster is finished, when YG announce they want another group too. Seeing BM struggling, I can understand why. If they can't do better with Ahyeon, I don't think they will be a huge success. To be fair, I don't care if they will create good songs, I never cared about hype, but I don't trust YG.
