Recently I watched a funny show on YT where the guy should choose a one from 8 girls based on what's in their phones. He spoiled stray kids on her phone case, also he found JYP Bubble app. At last, he opened her YT Music and noticed tones of Stray Kids songs. Afterwards, dude turned off her phone and eliminated the girl from the date.
What do you think? Are fangirls really that bad gf material?
Guy kicked a girl out of a date after he knew she is a STRAY KIDS fan

I mean it's Stray Kids, he probably knows that he can't compete with them bc they're on another league anyways. She probably has too high standards

You can't compare some Samsung guy to the one and only Hwang Hyunjin.
He only works there? If he doesn't own Samsung, I don't want him -
did she greet him properly when they met? this is very crucial information

it was a blind date
He sounds judgemental af
Most men are also die hard crazy fans of something (mostly sport), but God forbid if girl has something she is passionate about.
She dodged a bullet
Look on this from a man's point of view: nobody wants to hold #2 position in his girlfriend's life

Lol this happens frequently with boy men and women its not some man only bs that some 🤡🤡 here are trying to pull. Both genders know of the stereotypes of obsessive fans. If the roles were reversed nobody would be complaining if she turned down the guy that was an otaku and had anime on his phone and photocards of his favorite characters etc.
Alot of fangirls exhibit that same anime fanboy trope THAT'S why she got turned down.

btw, yes! I remember a Korean poll, and otaku were among worst man's habits defined by Korean girls, second only to fishing.

It's fine that she's a big fangirl, and it's also fine that he's not interested in her. It's not a big deal. Not everybody is for everybody, that's life. No one is in the wrong here. Obviously some people will mesh better than others when it comes to interests and/or understanding.
Regarding fan+partner, most (secure) people are fine as long as it's not over a certain obsessive threshold. Nothing wrong with interests, and ofc an interest in a group don't automatically make you a bad partner.

not the gay allegations 😭 not true
But its true that me and my friends do like to organise outdoor trips like fishing, hiking etc during holidays . Most of my original childhood friend circle including me is living in different towns and cities due to moving out for higher studies and stuff so we don't see each other that often, these type of trips are good way to catch up with each other

Wow, you're probably the only user on this forum that knows what socialising irl means

The guy who is getting drunk instead of collecting figurines/playing games will be better?

Not really, these are just occasional stuff. I too spend a big portion of my free time just playing video games or surfing internet.

I am able to lucid dream btw. Who knows, maybe I am still asleep?

as far as i remember, this series is actually quite lighthearted and not to be taken seriously. the guys (or girls sometimes) eliminate the other for shallow reasons too and most of the time, the whole thing is just meant to be funny and as entertainment. no real feeling are hurt i think.
but again, ig it is understandable why some may not want to date a fangirl, its their choice ig

Of course not. It's just that I had personal experience in this😅

what's wrong with collecting figurines?

for me it's like this
let's say I'm ordering STAYC album
girl is ordering Stray Kids album
all good
if she want to wear some shirt with Stray Kids logo it's all good
but when she would decorate phone like that with their photos, and put Stray Kids members photos in her wallet
I would start questioning why am I even here then? xD
also imagine answering questions all the time
"hey so I've noticed she had those two guys on her phones, who are they? brothers?"
"nah..."
"ex boyfriends?"
xD

True but on a first date/blind date how would you know? That's the issue here some 🤡🤡 clowns are trying to make him out as the bad guy for turning her down because of the fan stuff. Yet the ironic thing is nobody would have cared if this role was reversed, if the guy was a anime/gamer and had lots of anime pictures etc or was a girl group fan with twice everywhere.
I get it some people get a dopamine hit to hate on men, but c'mon that shit is pathetic when you know 99.99999% of the time you'd be pating yourself on the back for "dodging" a guy for exhibiting that same fan actions that kpop fangirls have so 😂lol

It's funny that this became a "issue" when nost women would turn down a fanboy who exhibited similar results, but the kicker is everyone would have seen it as no problem so no thread or talk about this.

a person is allowed to choose whatever form of gf material is suitable for him (or her)
regardless of whether we agree with his choice it doesn't matter that's his choice
we have our own preferences...maybe it's looks, height, weight, body, money, personality etc etc
who are we to judge someone for their choices based on what they want for gf material???
