Just like with every other "alleged" news, I'm more inclined to wait for evidence before having an opinion about someone I barely know. If it's somehow proven to be true then I would most certainly distance myself from him, not because of some delulu dream about some idol's tarnished nonexistence "innocence" or anything, but because I really dislike cheaters and their personalities. Even if you aren't an idol, you cheat once, that's it, I'm out.
People make human error all the time. Particularly when really young. Not my damned business.

Ironically most ifans have adopted this stupid trend and will cancel them too. Prime example Lucas 😂😂😂 despite fuckboy frat boy etc being idolized in certain areas of western countries with people talking about how they want a bad boy or how their fave looks like a fuck boy etc. But then the idol is that irl suddenly you mad🤡🤡🤡🤡 the fuck?
Literally couldn’t care less about something like that. It’s not like as if I’m going to be his GF (or even his friend really) so why do I care if he’s a shitty boyfriend. I already have seen plenty of coworkers/classmates who are brilliant at their job/specializations but are shitty BF’s and deserve to die alone. It is what it is.

If I know for sure that person is a cheater, I would question what kind of person that is. So yes I would probably distance myself from that idol. I have no empathy for cheaters nor would I wanna support someone like that. Maybe I would continue liking that group tho, but even then it would be more lowkey

but all those girlfriends to be, would feel betrayed in advance. The fans that think of an idol as their boyfriend are delulu. so i don`t expect rational thoughts from them

this is all about character - and each person's different morals and ethics and standards with regards to what they would do with regards to another's character...
for some people cheating is a serious blight on a person's character whereas for others it's not as big of a deal
