Is anyone starting to forget the old AKP?

I know I am and it's horrible.
I have so many great memories there and I'm starting to forget them! I'm starting to forget some of my threads that I made, the people I've talked to, the conversations I've had, etc.

I've even forgotten some stuff, and I really miss how they had a text shop for buying badges, it was much easier and less stressful. I miss the banners at the top of the page for events, I missed how likes were the only reaction but most of all, I miss the thousands of threads that we lost...

Help me remember, because the old AKP is slowly fading from my memory...

Yup! I think we talked about 2 weeks ago That's good! I'm doing pretty good. I almost bursted with joy today!!! It's going pretty good. I've been a little stressed because my teachers have been piling me with tests and work before Spring break but at least I get a break next week! ^ ^

We have enough toxicity - people don't get it out of their systems in a Purge - they're upfront about it for one night and just go right back to being shady the day after, except now people know that they're being shady instead of just suspecting it. And look at the shit that went down after the last one.

BTW, I was digging down the Wayback Machine for archived screenshots of the AKP website when I found these gems from the past:

• A screenshot of the original AKP forums from 2008 (IDEK if anyone who was there is still here on the current AKP forums ...)
• A screenshot of the 2nd-gen AKP forums from 2010 (as with the original AKP forums, IDEK if anyone who was there is still here)
• A screenshot of the 6Theory Media Forums from 2011 (you can see there that, along with there being an AKP category, there was also a TokyoHive category for the first time - the current AKP forums here also have both an AKP category and a TokyoHive category, so... )
• A screenshot of the 4th-gen AKP forums from 2014 (not sure what that iteration of the AKP forums ran on, though my best guess is some open-source forum software like myBB based on its design ...)

I don't think I'll have to share archived screenshots of the 5th- (previous) and 6th-gen (current) AKP forums from the Wayback Machine here, since most of you who're currently here may know of them already ...

the forum was hell at times, but the drama could be entertaining at times and i had a lot of great experiences and made a lot of friends at a time in my life when i couldn't really have either due to the pandemic. i appreciate it for what it gave me.

Wow. I read the whole thing and I almost cried. It was such good memories...

It's sad that many many users didn't have an account before the revamp too
