Ok but now i'm recalling the current GG survival show being run by Hybe and featuring the fake Minju. So was there some sort of rift between CJENM and Hybe, which resulted in Hybe doing its own survival show for its new GG and CJENM going to Teddy to help create ILAND2?

Ment think teddy will give them the global group they want but seeing how zb1 did that's just not mean to be. I thought they will do much better btw, they seem pretty hyped but none of that translated to anything but album sales

mnet owns iland (apparently) and forwhatevr reason didnt do the show with hybe, so they made the show with CJ and Wakeone.
then RU NEXT is HYBEs new GG which replaced iland for them

Maybe his trainees will be featured in the Iland2 survival competition. It's a good way to get them more public exposure and build a fandom, much like what's happening with ZB1's unbelievable debut album sales and will probably happen with the fake Minju Hybe GG.

Mentors/coaches doing proper training instead of just making weird facial expressions and harsh judging
There are already 3-4 main title songs in Teddy's hard drive that will be used for this project
lol this is probably why Somi's comeback has been so delayed and why we won't see a BP album until 2025 even if they all re-sign.

Maybe his trainees will be featured in the Iland2 survival competition. It's a good way to get them more public exposure and build a fandom, much like what's happening with ZB1's unbelievable debut album sales and will probably happen with the fake Minju Hybe GG.

no ,I don't think so they can work with different labels but this time they are collaborating with the blacklabel it's a good opportunity for teddy to launch his upcoming group
nvm I thought he was working on his group since he was looking for more members I thought he was collaborating with mnet to promote his new gg but he is just gonna be a master producer

Nah, I think BAEMON will still have the YG sound. If you follow Treasure and listen to the snippets that they have released recently, it has the YG sound all over it.

Yeah, people thought the same with WinnerxIkon but nothing crazy happened. We shall wait and see

I'm speaking more in terms of fanwars rather than anything else.
Winner had a pretty quiet fanbase, and iKON had a somewhat unstable trajectory in terms of career, so their fanbase didn't have a chance to really become messy. Both of these groups were eclipsed by Big Bang.
Not sure if this is the TBLNGG that everyone has been waiting for, but if Baemon and that group both have solid fanbases, I'm interested to see how things shake out. Will they be eclipsed by BP, or will they make their own legacies?

The ILand2 group will be under Wakeone, not TBL. Seems like Teddy is effectively a "mentor" and will produce at least one of the group's songs.

It can be different tho. For example Belift was set together by HYBE and CJ ENM.
Here we might have situation where The Black Label trainees will join, probably some of them will end in group. Then Teddy will be responsible for music and all that but Wakeone will be managing group in terms of auch things as giving them busses, manager, security, stylist, making decisions about album cover look, photoshoots etc.
Money can also be split half half which would make sense.
