Well, it's a cultural thing, if ifans love to talk about controversies who only matters in the west, knetz can have a say about something who only matters in Korea (at least the idols are living there, so they have to adapt a little)

I don't think so. She was using informal speech towards someone she isn't close to, that's a big deal to koreans. Kim Yoojung, a beloved korean actress, was hated a lot for things like doesn't greeting in a proper way, you can search "Kim Yoo Jung Controversy". CLC was hated a lot for being sassy towards BTOB too. Overall, I think Shuhua is lucky the other girls are loved, I think if idle wasn't a loved and popular group koreans would be hashier towards her.

Two examples, but I'm sure there's more. The sassy character is always risky, because it's cool till certain point, but if you overdo it, you're screwed, and isn't only in korea, even in west we have some boundaries for sassy characters.
