All my biases are almost all the main or lead vocalist so it’s more a choice based on skills but it’s true that I often relate the most to the idols who remind me of myself.

It means I'm the outlier for your samples.

Because Rei, Billie's Haram, Jo Yuri, Yena, Kazuha, Everglow Sihyeon, Park Sohyun, Luda and Geumhee didn't resemble anything in me.

I got curious when I first saw BTS Yoongi was the first person I saw but Taehyung stood out to me more cause I first saw them when they performed a song and his deep voice I never heard a voice like that before getting into BTS

I choose my bias's by if they have the same/similar birthdays to me, music tastes, etc.

But at the same time I like many rappers and few vocalists though, so it really depends.

Personality wise yeah I kinda got interested by looks at first but as time passed I noticed we had similar interest/choices. It's only natural, no? Like you don't hang out with people that have completely taste from you

Well first, I wouldn't say unconsciously. In some cases of my favorite members are the ones that seem more down to earth (Like Jisoo or Yujin (iz*one days)), and I purposely already know I like them because they are more relatable. Second, the thing is there are just as many bling-bling charming idols I want to be like as idols I want to be friends with, so I don't know if it's only one of those things.

Yes I think if you get to know the members in a group past their appearances, then you will start to go by personality rather than just their appearances. And if you follow them for a long time then their haircuts and concepts will change a lot, so your initial flame (whoever you were attracted to at first sight) will start to cool down.
