HYBE is gonna kill everything SM do well

we all know HYBE is always only looking for the profit that's why they disbanded Gfriend at the first occasion they had after spending days saying how Gfriend were unique et they'll help them to grow and support them forever after buying Source music

they'll probably do the same thing with SM and kill everything good just to pursue the profit everytime

so i guess the 2023 new year SM concert was the last one we had free, for 2024 everybody will have to prepare 50$ to pay to see the SM new year concert if HYBE buy SM

and i guess it's time to say goodbye to the amazing songs and unexpected collab we had thanks to the SM station project, because HYBE will probably shut down the project because it doesn't bring enough profit for them

exactly i wouldn't surprise if they also close Super junior label and takke away all their artistic freedom that SM gave them

fire kaangta and Boa because they aren't as profitable than kpop idols

and just get rid of smaller artist from sm subsidiary and just fire all the dj hire

I'm not a hybe or CL or kakao fan or anything but you think CL/kakao is doing this for the kindness of their heart? lol

hindsight is 20/20 my friend we only know after the fact whether something is good or not

there's four situations (ok more than 4 but only 4 revelant ones)

hybe takesover SM and does well

hybe takesover SM and does not do well

CL and kakao takesover SM and does well

CL and kakao takesover SM and does not do well

and none of us know now whether any of the above will turn out

we don't know how it'll turn out but we already saw in the past how Kakao and Hybe manage groups under the label that they buy so it gives us a good hindsight of how things will change

when Kakao bought Plan A the ex agency of Apink, they supported Apink and are still supporting them even if they are not a gg as profitable than most GG now

meanwhile HYBE bought Source music, the agency of Gfriend, and One year after they were disbanding Gfriend to make more place for the futur GG they want to debut

and they did the same with Nu'est when they bought Pledis and disbanded Nu'est 2 years after because they are not a group who make enough profit

at least history show me that Kakao will probably not fire or disband group after one year like Hybe do

i can see them conpletely scrapped NCT concept and Aespa concept just to make of them some generic Kpop groups to make them more accepted for western market

Who were full of hopes when hybe bought source music even when all the fandom were saying that they will fire them quickly

And how hybe stans were calling everybody showing any concern drama queens

And at the end all the concern people had were valid because hybe disbanded them when most of the girls still wanted to promote as a group and they had to look for another company and debut under another group because Source music didn't want to let them use gfriend

Meanwhile KAKAO have been very supportive of Apink career as a group and even try to work with YG very closely to help the girl to continue to promote with their full lineup after naeun signed with YG

They only renew minhyun contract because minhyun iisthe most popular member, he was the visual of the group, was part of Wanna one and have a very successfull solo career

And baekho is also another member who had a lot of popularity since appearing on produce 101

Meanwhile JR was pretty popular but because of the lack of promo his popularity decrease a lot

Aaron was never really popular in the group he was one of the least popular and also the only member to not appear on Pd101 so he didn't get a lot of attention

And Ren was also one of the meast popular member and i doubt HYBE thought that his androgynous look would make him of someone enough profitable
