who have the worst downfall : MOMOLAND vs BRAVE GIRLS

imo its not that obvious because after Chi Mat Ba Ram, Brave Girls also completely lost.. momoland atleast still performing on other country and getting invited to perform on concert

did you forget what a terrible company momoland is in and all the disputes they got into with the members? And that the group lost one third of its original lineup after they went viral? Brave girls might not have blown up in as many foreign countries as momoland but they’re managed by a much better company and their future is much less dodgy. And you’re making it seem like brave girls is jobless rn lol they’re still doing fine and no where near as exploited and mishandled as momoland ever was, they’re just not the trend anymore. That does not automatically put them in the same spot as momoland

If we're picking viral groups I'm voting Crayon Pop for worst downfall
-
-
Momoland...Brave Girls were already in the twilight of their idol careers when Rollin' miraculously went viral.
-
They've had a sad run tbh. Lost 3 members. One for a stupid dating situation that was both embarrassing since the guy denied it and ruined her career.
And the girls were extremely sexualized. From their ass cheeks hanging out of their shorts, a fan doing something lewd at their fan meet, and Nancy possibly being filmed undressing in her dressing room.
Honestly, every time I think of Momoland now, only sad thoughts come to me.

Brave girls had no downfall
They clearly had a surprisingly good year and that type of fame is not sustainable for a long time

unlike Brave Girls, Momoland didn't have a second wind.
though it was interesting seeing BG being the spot of 3rd gen in 4th gen stages.

In the second half of 2022 Brave Girls went to concerts in the Philippines and Japan next to douzends of Festivals in Korea. They just finished the filming of another variety Show.
Its just that international Kpop fans dont pay much attention to them. Similar to oh my Girl pre queendom.
While in terms of promotion Brave Girls receive some similar neglecment like Momoland. The Girls dont get mistreated like momoland and seem happy with how they doing now.
-
Brave Girls cant fall down. You cant get any more down than where they came from.
-
-
It's funny how they’re downfalls and contracts are similar. They both lost members in their groups, got super popular off one song and won the same amount of awards. I would have to say brave girls downfall would be a lot worse. To be around so long and face disbandment to just now finding success, it would look pathetic to see their careers get cut short again 🤣. I can't wait to see who gets a contract renewal for 2023 between the two groups.
-
brave girls downfall how, they came from the depths of nugudom and disbandment, with no success and failure, finally getting hits, how is it a downfall from where they started
-
At least Brave Girls made some decent money.

Momoland
I don't think brave girl is that popular ?
I'm not impress w their visual
and viral song
Momoland since debut already impressive visual w
Nancy and Yeonwoo
they waiting for the right song release
Momoland had higher peak
and definitely lowest downfall
especially since Yeonwoo out of the groupThey didnt went viral because of their visual. They got popular with the korean Public because of their selflessness and preseverance. That you can follow your dreams, no matter how old your are. That women can have success in Kpop without an ant waist, 15yo babyface or a big company. More like jpop they focus on having fun instead of perfection.
That the Kpop mainstream view these attributes negatively is one of the biggest downsides of Kpop.

Def. agree. I would also pick CLC because they really released too many songs and in my opinion they got carried away. they def. had a downfall.

i would argue MLD is not the best in the business.

True, I hear they're using Momoland money to build a bigger facility for new trainees. 🤢
-
i didn't really know about them when i 1st got into kpop (2018) but i always heard that Boom Boom was thier best song and it is a good song, but between Lineup changes, MLD's incompetence, and people bashing them for every little thing Momoland did
they really fell out of line no thanks to their company
Brave Girls were 1 hit wonders so they really didn't have a "Downfall" the same way Momoland did
-
Brave Girls to me is more akin to like EXID where it seems like their company was focused on them and was letting them try to hit it big but nothing was sticking for them and when something did it wasnt even a new song so their respective companies let them ride out what they had and let them fizzle kinda.
Momland however was abused

Somehow this makes me feel sad again for Brave Girls.
At the point where they were on the verge of giving up, they got their break
... only for it to fade away again more and more with every new comeback
-
Both had crazy high peaks but both had lower and lower comebacks (Momoland with Baam and Thumbs Up, Brave Girls with ChiMatBaRam and Thank You).
I'll choose Momoland because MLD started removing girls less than a year after Bboom Bboom, which showed major signs of instability to come. Brave Ent. tried but the public was just over Brave Girls beyond Rollin.

Hopefully they got some money with their brief 15 minutes of fame.
Maybe they got enough to set up a small business, or go back to school, even buy a house or at least a good down payment for a house would be nice.
Compared to where they were heading before the song went viral.

Brave girls also had a lot of member turn over, it just happened before they went viral.
Even the 1 member that left right before they became famous, she did all the work at the military bases, she was on the YouTube video that went viral, she just had enough of it and quit the group months before the video went viral, talk about bad timing.
