If you are an idol, would you reply haters if you were allowed to?

it's fighting against an amorphic mass of stupidity. Not worth it imo.

Depends on whats going on
My ulti for example sometimes coment to what fans posted and I also saw some other idols do that but I don't think they would come far if they would directly get back at the one who writes hate comments
I think someone like Jay Park once some years ago reacted to hater comments on social media and his reaction was just "You can't fool me cause I can bite back" something like that.
IDK what I would do in a situation like that. I mean you say one wrong thing and in the worst case more people hate you than before and most people don't want that for themself.

Reply on a personal level? No. You don't need to be a idol to know what happens. As soon as you reply the troll/anti won. They got a reaction out of you and they'll continue to trigger you because it can be done.
For a general answer or explanation to everyone over an issue then yeah. I guess that wouldn't cause too much problem.

Like let's say the company give you free reign.
You are free to literally use your tiktok or twitter or whatever to directly reply any hate video on tiktok or any hate tweet if you want.
And people will know it's you
Will you do it? Or will you just ignore and let life continue
I Would definitely reply. I wouldn't attack them. I would question their beliefs. Like explain why you hate me, not just a oh i hate his music or art style no I'd want a full explanation. Also the internet and sns gives people this disconnect which lets them do things without reproach or seeing the affects of their actions. Most people wouldn't be nasty irl but will do so online. That being said, I'd disarm these people by having them one by one brought to HYBE and a paid meal in the cafeteria or restaurant of choice and have a 1on1 conversation/interview and see what the deal is. Bet you 99% of them won't be haters after that encounter because they get to see the real person behind the cameras a real breathing feeling loving person just like them just happens to be an idol. Makes you feel differently about someone when you can see them touch them and understand they are just like you, they feel the same things they hurt like you etc suddenly all that "hate" disappears.

...I'd just transmute their energy.

Nope, but if I was my bias group, I would sue their a5ses when it comes to spreading rumours and libel.
Like, you want to hate? Ok, you can't avoid that as a celebrity, but spreading assumptions and misinformation like it's the truth and living carefree in this world while someone suffers from more hate because of it should be punishable. Kids on internet should be put into place or the next generation is doomed.
Just go to twitter, find those IPs spreading lies and teach them responsibility for those words. Sadly, korean companies usually target only korean comments and ignore the toxic stuff spreading everywhere else.
Usually it's not light matters too. Pedophilia accussations etc. Just look at Heechul, by all means Momo was an adult woman, yet I see legit pedophilia accusations being retweeted every week. Just sue them.
