Have you ever thought of leaving akp?

I got into a depressive state awhile back and wondered if it was worth it.

The forum that is. Because that was contributing to my stress.

Now idgaf. The forum is dying and I’ll go out with it if things don’t turn around.

Not officially. No. Like if I leave, I'm not going to make an announcement. Sometimes I go months without coming on here for whatever reason, and if I ever get the nerve to leave, I'll just quietly stop coming and move on. But yeah, when I don't want to be here, I'm not, and when I do, I pop in.

I know Ultra left because she thought she got doxxed on here, and I have heard people leave because they felt like it wasn't a healthy environment for them or it was boring and they just went else where. Typically, that's been my experience on why people decide to exit.

this site used to be far more toxic and less strict on hate posts, bashing, and trolling. i know many people who left a long time ago because of that and don't see a reason to come back.

I lost contact with my friend sanumi. She left the forum because I think she didn’t feel a sense of belonging. I was in contact with her on discord after she left but then she left that platform too.

I hope she is doing okay. I wonder about her…

Not really. I joined the site wishing for people to discuss kpop with me thinking it would backfire on me but nope. I've met a lot of good people and am close with a few. I did go on hiatus during the August-September bloodbath to focus on studies but I still log on here when I feel like it.

I actually have left at different times. The last time I left, it was because the majority of the posts on the main forums were people trolling and arguing about the same ~3 groups. And the rare time someone made a board about a different group, the immediate responses turned it into a thread about one of the main groups.

I only came back once I saw more variety in the threads on the main forums again and the titles weren't people just trying to start fights.

I had thought of that yes.

I know quite a few who left, most were for community reasons but others needed to use the time elsewhere.

i have left a few times and by that i mean months worth of times multiple times, i consider that big enough to considered being called "leaving" bc i never thought id come back each time ksdfjfjk

Nah, I will probably still lurk even if the activity is dead for good. I will probably stop posting if the users I get along leave the forum though.

No... I rarely go into the forums that have toxicity, so it's never affected me.

I mostly use the forums as a source of kpop news and (formerly) a place to ramble about dumb things.

I left a long time ago but eventually came back. There were so many toxic people that I mainly stuck with the group of Kissmes I talked to. But we all eventually grew up and started moving on. I miss them sometimes and wish we could talk so I can redeem myself for how cringy I was back then lol

But lately I like coming on and I also don't have as much of a need to be online as I used to. It's more leisurely for me rather than pure escapism.

Yes, but only once or twice. Mostly because I was worried I was spending too much time on here and not enough time on school stuff, but I was too addicted to leave, and my activity has mostly leveled out now, since it’s not as new to me anymore, so it all worked out and I’m still here.

Multiple times. It's hard to feel like I belong on here ngl.

If I go, know I'm going dead silent like I'm not gonna tell anyone. Ths isn't because I hate the users, but I have a feeling I won't check for a day, then I'll be on, then two days, then I'll be on, then three, four, etc etc.

Nah, this forum ain't that deep for me, I just come here once in a while when I have time and feel like it, especially for girl groups comebacks, but akp never affected my life or mental health etc

They are when they are mid 50's on a site like this and I did say I don't like K pop as much as I used to. I am too old for here.

I don't like it as much as I used to do as well. I don't listen too much to the 4th generation. I think I'm still here for BTS, if not, I don't think I would even listen to Kpop that much anymore.
