AAA is slowly turning into prestigious award

Didn't every thing you said also happen in previous years or is something better about this year

prestigious AAA?

with all due respect to the artists and actors - AAA literally gave out 81 awards (and to my knowledge) to all of the attendees - did anyone in attendance not get an award

Inorder for them to be "prestigious" they first need to stop handing out awards like they're some candy

It's a fun award show and I give them that but definitely not the prestigious one. Many big groups from 4th gen attending it just because they can simply get few awards there even daesang that they're unable to get in other main award shows. If AAA somewhat want to be on that level, they should stop giving the awards to all attendees but obv many groups will stop coming after that just because they're not winning anything.

Ah, Kpop, where every award someone else wins is an irrelevant attendance award, but when your group wins it, it is now a serious metric of your success and another notch in your cap.

What define prestigious award? Mama almost yearly is rife with controversy, feuds, and is often portrayed more like MTV awards. None of that scream prestigious. Melon is still relatively young and is only focused on its own platform; it's like Nintendo giving game of the year awards to Nintendo games only. If those are considered prestigious then pretty much every award show is including AAA

nah. MAMA also had big groups attending and it has not been considered prestigious like others.

Who decides If It's important or not It's the groups who are the ones rewarded for their work. I'm just an average K-pop fan who want to watch performances.

More like turning into a joke, getting an award in this show doesn't feel like an achievement.

The way they created irrelevant categories just so everyone gets an award is ridiculous, besides the winners for the main categories have a lot to say too.

Dude idols cry for all sorts of reason like thinking they let down fans for a minor “scandal” or being pranked on a variety show. Crying shouldn’t mean automatically one show is worth more than the others

Mama is the MTV award show of Korea. Fact. It’s all style and razzle dazzle that covers up the usually expected popular winners. Like I said it has controversy every year almost as if it’s part of the show (this year I think there voting bots again or whatever crap) and still gets a lot of fan engagement every year without fail. Hell MTV awards are much more relevant considering at least they can put on a show without shit happening and you know exactly what you’re getting with popular picks for wins instead of sometimes WTF winners you see in MAMA.

MAMA and MMA are really in a league of their own and currently this is untouchable. The level difference is obvious just by looking at how much companies invest time and money into the performances for these shows. Most groups are usually giving their best stage of the entire year at MMA or MAMA.

AAA could make the "2nd" tier of awards shows if they stopped giving out like 100 awards, but it's hard to take it seriously when nobody has any idea what the awards are actually given out based on. I still prefer this over the shows that just fully rig it while pretending to have some kind of clear criteria for the awards like SMA (ew)

lmao the only reason AAA gets a ton of groups to show is because it's an attendance award show at its purest so companies send their groups there knowing they will win something. So not prestigious, just egotistic
