Has Lesserafim superceded Newjeans as Hybe's favorite daughters?

I think it's about time people start looking at them as groups from different labels bc it's what it is and they'll have different strategies, promotions, etc.

This isn't a "substitute" case.

I feel like Lesserafim was received much better on international scale than Newjeans and by international I mean outside of Asia

Eh, I think it's more due to the fact that Hybe is pushing LSF internationally first, what with the JP debut and potential international tour. Yes, NJ has more English speakers, but Yunjin is actually American.

NJ also has to grind for their comeback.

2nd they are actually more popular in US than new jeans. New Jean's are more popular in S.K. I am saying this because I saw lesserafim videos trending on US YouTube.

I think it was always meant to be: Le Sserafim for international audience vs New Jeans for Korea. Just looking at concepts alone.

New Jeans has become more trend in the Korea. Le Sserafim became more trend on the internationally. So that very make sense strategy

Why does everyone compare every tiny detail between these groups? Not to mention they are both very different music wise, and target audience wise.

Le Sserafim is doing the best internationally so it makes sense that they get more push.

Moreover, they have a fluent English speaker, this isn’t IZ*ONE 2.0 just because it has two former members.

For me it makes sense. Le Sserafim is way more ahead into their careers, it just makes sense that they will debute first on US radio (even if they weren't more popular internationally). New Jeans is yet to have a comeback, which will show us how big of a core fandom they truly gathered and where they are truly based (I guess they will be in Korea).

No point comparing the management of the two groups since they're managed differently. New Jeans is 100% managed by ADOR and HYBE doesnt touch them at all

this is correct. Bang PD has had more direct involvement with LSRFM's production and marketing. And with Sakura and Chaewon, they have more solid longstanding fanbases internationally so it makes sense to start there sooner

That's not to say that NWJNS won't be marketed internationally, I think it's just a matter of time and more comebacks. Danielle and Hanni are formidable int'l stan attractors while Minji is more of a SK fave
