A lot of BGs have not been able to follow up from their hits in 2021 while GGs have been reaching bigger and bigger peaks both in physicals and digitals.

BG were doubling their sales and that seems to have been stalled lately looking at 17 and NCT sales (wonder how SKZ and TXT next album is gonna do will they crack that 2 mil I wonder)

It feels like 2million ish is the plateau for kpop sales and maybe we aren’t gonna see any of the groups really go much more past that. Who knows.

Bgs still outsell ggs. But ggs at least the top ones are doing well in physicals too along with charting and streaming. Bgs are complete flops on kcharts but do good enough on streaming. They still have touring but it's not like ggs can't do it. I guess it's becoming more even.
