I mean, I didn't know people wanted IVE to change their sound, why tho?

The problem with gfriend was not their sound but more of the lack of diversity in their discography, a lot of their songs blended into each other, I can't say the same thing for IVE they have a distingue sound but all their song are very different from each other.

Plus this rare in 4th gen to have a group that is consistent with their musical identity so I am very happy that IVE stick to their sound.

I mean ive already has different sounds. Eleven to love dive to after like. All are different. Yeah don't expect them suddenly to stop releasing easy pop music but they are doing variety in that itself.

Tbh, concept changes can be successful if you have the correct timing. A concept change after years of establishing a fandom who is used to one type of sound will not be successful, e.g. gfriend and twice. However if you change concepts continuously since debut, like red velvet, txt etc, you establish a fandom that doesn't mind concept changes so you run no risk doing different concepts each comeback. So yeah, if ive were to do a concept change now I don't think they'd be affected since they're still rookies. But if they chose to continue with this concept, it will become riskier for them to suddenly switch it later. Unless they were to slowly ease into the concept change like how txt slowly added rock and heavier elements into their music so it's not that big of a shock to the fandom when songs looke gbgb arrive.

I feel like IVE is already different in their 3 tt music wise, tho their concept is still the same chaebol crush.

But I think it would be interesting if My Satisfaction is their tt instead

After Like is already pretty different from both Eleven and LD, is more bright and fast placed while the first 2 are more slower and dark so thats already a concept change, unless they go full kwangya or O.O they are gonna be fine, i don't expect them to go full girl crush either because no only barely debuted but are too young to sell this kind of image and kill it, maybe in a few years when everybody is over 18 and have more experience

I don't even think they have the same sound, so far all three single title tracks have been different, not to mention the bsides. That's one of the things I really like about them - all of their songs sound fresh and interesting to me, and I can't wait to see what would their full album sound like.

As far as the concept goes, it seems to be similar but I like it For this single, the first photo teasers they released were quite different (minimal make up, simple clothes) and I really loved it, but looks like it was just for the promotion, and they perform in the other outfits.

Eleven and Love Dive are sort of interchangeable, although Eleven is definitely better. Afterlike is disco remixed and doesnt sound anything like those other two.
