NMIXX is Really Confusing Tf Out of Me....

Not only are we getting ugly neon teasers, which I can ignore if it's for the basic good of the overall concept....

But I CAN NOT with these confusing lore texts that cannot even get basic English right!? We need to stand against Giant Shadow for Next Step? Damn, why didn't ya'll let Lily proof read this? Lily, please, make them stop.

And what is None Minus 1? -1? Like, what? Are we doing basic math or we trying to say something, and what we trying to say? Cause, it's really going over my head. And, nah, I don't care about the plagiarism. If JYPE plagiarised SM, I really wish they hadn't because I have always thought SM's lore tactics were stupid (except EXO, the effects for their powers were kinda cool, ngl). Everything else was dumb for me personally, and I wish JYPE would stop because it looks tryhard af.

Then the whole thing about using random Latin, Spanish, and German words?! Like ya'll, pick a country!? Where we going? We going to Europe or we going to Latin America? Choose! It just...it just does not make sense to me. This marketing ain't it. NMIXX deserve better. I'm tired. It's like they gathered a bunch of entry level marketing employees to try to make something innovative, but it's just going straight over my head. It's like they wanted to do everything that's trendy, but it's not coming off as cohesive. Please HIRE an EXPERIENCED marketing DIRECTOR SQU4D!! Or someone at JYPE please take the wheel. Like, a part of me hopes this comeback under performs (but doesn't completely flop cause that'd be bad) so we can legitimately change the marketing strategy.

Like, can ya'll copy IVE please? Let's be like them instead.

Okay, I'm done. Had to get that off my chest. Anticipate NMIXX. If they at least have a good song, I can keep going. Lord, that's all I need.

I didn't even realize it, but the multiple languages thing is unique, but not in a good way. I think I'd be more fine with it if they at least stuck to one type of language (like Romantic languages, for example, or European ones). Just using one language would be better though. Also, they're literally a K-Pop group, why not write it in mostly English, but use some Korean or Konglish words instead sprinkled in? It would make much more sense if we're being honest.

Also, yes, if the company is going to have those girls copy anyone, it should be someone like IVE who has great music.

Oh, and before I forget, when is their comeback? I might check it out.

I don't love the teasers but teasers hardly ever really link with the end product anyways.

Honestly, to me, it seems like they are behind the trend.

And who knows, I may be wrong. They may come out with something that blows my mind and I may eat my words.

But, it honestly looks like they are still stuck in the era of like 2014-2020. There is a paradigm shift in KPOP. Not saying that they should be doing what groups like IVE, LSFM, and New Jeans are doing. But, it's the job of the marketing team to anticipate what the next trend will be and capitalize on that to lead it. Or create an interpretation of something old that is so unique that it feels new.

Instead, it feels like they are just rehashing 2012-2020.

It's hard to know what to expect since this is their 1st comeback. Especially since they have also done things like Annyeong Gabby and that Rainbow cover. We also know that JYPE is not consistent with their teasers based on past experiences.
