If you could read any kpop idol’s memoir, who would it be?

IU she's been in the industry for a very long time and from a young age so i'm sure she knows a lot about behind the scenes...

Also any senior idol from SM.. I really want to know what goes on in that company

jonghyun, because of reasons.... and key, because I think it would be interesting. he is a really healthy minded person, so it would be interesting to read his thoughts.

I want to read biography of IU by WhyKnock side by side with her memories..

To be honest, I don't think any have been around long enough to write a memoir.

Seohyun or Yoona... because they'd probably be the most balanced with addressing Jessica-gate

More than Individual stories, it is how these individuals shaped the industry as we know it. They need to be movers and shakers.

Big picture, through small picture.

Most idols are completely controlled by their agencies and will not have much to say about the field outside their own personal stories.

Hence only small picture.

Any of the Stray Kids members, or any of the groups that I stan. I’d like to get the raw, insider information from them like just how much they like their songs, how the industry affected them, their real relationship with their group members, an accurate insight into their personality and so much more. Stuff like that.

Purely from a "who do I think would have a really interesting story to tell" perspective (and enough content to actually fill a memoir), I was thinking BoA. Debuted young; was one of the first to expand into China, Japan, and the United States; one of the most influential kpop idols; she's done subunits, acting gigs, hosting gigs, musicals; she rose from just another idol at her company to becoming a creative director...

I think an unvarnished look at what it took to accomplish all of that would make for a fascinating read.
