"they have great stage presence" like I can't keep defending them 😭💀
U know its bad for a group when they look awkward in close shots too
even the magic camera angles cant save some groups

Maybe wait for them to perform first before stanning?
For some people performance doesn't matter. Like me. Good music is enough
-
I don’t get it? This is how kpop operates, and how gg stans have moved for a long time, why the sudden complains?
And are you being sarcastic when you say music isn’t enough to stan? Cos I am a fan of Zayn’s and many indie Nugu’s music and I will probably never see them perform and it isn’t necessary cos their music is good to listen to.
However I do agree many pick and drop groups like instant food in kpop esp for girl groups but that’s probably cos they are consumers of kpop and not a specific group. Could be why many groups don’t last long, cos the interest goes away from the audience when someone new appears

hdu those nugus and their 40 fans are very happy... like for real they legitimately seem to have more fun with their fans than huge groups.

The problem is not people who dont care about performances, the problem is the fans who stan first then criticize the performance
Maybe dont stan so fast!

I mean it's nature if gg groups tho, they usually have much public interest and hype but small dedicated stan.

the only time i have stanned a group without hearing anything is Omega x, just b and Xeed (who hasn't debuted yet) the reason:
Omega x announced it's line up and several members from beloved disbanded groups were going to be part of this for that reason i was like sold
Just B - same reason as omega x they announced geonu who i enjoyed on i-land and dy who was one of my faves on 1the9 i liked lim jimin's solo music so i immediately stanned them before hearing them
Xeed - after watching boys24 and realizing Doha is in Xeed i am ready for them to debut...Doha is an INCREDIBLE vocalist and really stood out in boys24 but didn't make it to IN2IT. With 4 members part of Xeed it will be easy to watch them grow, plus they also have roni from off the cuff, bao from lucente, and jaemin who was also on boys24 - they then came out with a cover of big bang's most recent song and nailed it beautifully.
that's the only time i ever say i'm stanning a group before hearing them.
-
I mean fans complain about performance, outfits, mv and songs even after 5-6 years of stanning and why the special rule for them? if they are giving constructive criticism ain’t nothing wrong with it, if they come to realize at some point however early or late that this isn’t their cup of tea, they will unstan. Isn’t this the normal nature of fans?
-
I always check the groups that are debuting, if I like the song I keep updated with them, but only with time I decide if I'm really going to stan them
-

It is and i will call it out

I hate to say it but it's because of the increasing problem of success stans in kpop. People want to be part of the next big thing and think it somehow reflects on them. It's just unfair to the groups when these people drop them for the next trendy thing and sometimes even start to hate on them. It also runs the risk of shortening the longevity of kpop groups in general with how quick people are starting to stan and drop. People will stan a name with no members yet if there's enough hype these days.
But there's still real fans during these predebut stages and I know there's people that really like NJ because of the nostalgia and high quality music.

Its sad to see tbh, to see groups fade away just because they aren't trendy anymore
-
Why people being so salty about this new group. They already give their music for people to listen and many like it. It's more reasonable actually than all this kpop scheme to preorder first and you probably hate the outcome, didn't it? Or probably we can stop shaming and control people on what they like or who they want to stan, instead? I'm not even a stan but people seriously coming and say this is quite crazy because they actually giving out good music and let people listen them first. It's not like people blindly buying things they don't know, people like them.
-
This situation usually happens to the new group from big companies or 'junior' to their faves group. Just look how many sales for the debut of a new gens group. Moreover, group from big companies always been pushed to active before debut through their own shows, etc. survival shows, variety or whatever related.
People can't say the music is good or bad since it is matter of individual taste, good to you trash to others, trash to you good to others. Kfans can be consider as public/casual listener, that's why not many group that can maintain their song on the chart radar even after many years debut.

which kpop 4th gen groups are losing fans? i only see them beating their own records after each comebacks
-

I think they will have great performances because they look natural/charismatic in their mvs and because they're from Hybe. Hybe groups are usually great at dancing and stage presence. The only mystery here is their live skills but they're still young so even if they don't do it perfectly, they still have rooms for improvement. People stan groups who lipsync 90% of their career so expecting more for this group is weird lol
