Twice renewing contract with JYPE only proves

If only one of them would be allowed to release a solo song so we could see if it is true that they have no individual stardom. Oh well.

this is true to an extent. I mean obviously you are a troll but I do think Twice saw it in their best interest to remain with JYPE while they try to build their solo careers. It would have been more difficult to do so at a brand new company.

It's really an interesting point but leaving jyp would reduce their stardom even more wouldn't it? Ofc, they can't make it on their own. It requires immense talent which twice lacks. So what's wrong with renewing? It's the best option. A group would only leave if they are past their peak or disrespected by the company. And Twice is given the highest respect in jyp and definetely not past their peak.

I remember making a thread about this in early 2021 back in the old forum. Things were different back then. But now, TWICE have grown a lot internationally and still can do well in Korea if JYPE gives them good songs (Alcohol Fee, POP). You're not exactly wrong but made this thread at the wrong time. 5/9 of TWICE have strong individual fandom on top of having a lot of casual listeners due to the TWICE brand. Give them a year or two and I can see all of them doing well individually.

I don't really know why certain members renewed because JYP isn't really going to give them a solo that suits their personality or talent (if any) Like what is Mina gonna get. What is chaeryoung gonna get. She is not a rapper at all her skills are okay, she really has a funny way of rapping that makes you not take her seriously. Momo, like just a dance song and then her high pitched vocals in the back. Like...come on, Dahyun of course is gonna do TV work, Tzuyu acting, Jihyo solo, Jeongyeon...a solo? She's not really interesting? And Sana, acting and a solo I guess. I think the only solo that jyp cared about was Nayeons. The rest, good luck... 7 more years of Twice comebacks, I'd love to see how that turns out for them.

they are earning alot so why break the good thing? what if they don't want to go solo? are we sure all 9 want that? I don't think so, they are also all under 27years old right now and they have ALOT of time to try and go into other things, why not do that with a HUGE company like jyp behind them?

People can speculate and make posts all day long about this and that but we will never really know other than if all 9 want to stick together then jyp must be paying them plenty and giving them a good home with good upcoming opportunities which alot of other idols do not have the benefit of having..
