Look what happened to Taylor Swift. The ceo of her previous record company basically blackmailed her, saying he will give her masters if she released the number of albums that equals the number of previous albums she wants to own the masters of? if i explained it correctly. And she has like what 5?6? albums with them. She said nah and left. Now do you think they can dictate her what to do now that she's the biggest artist in the world? And before she released her versions she called out one of the most powerful people in the world. That's what these companies don't want. All these artists are basically puppets.
I do believe plenty of rappers were jealous of Drake since he became the biggest rapper in the world as his numbers show and who knows what he rejected.
If executives tried to humble Michael Jackson, Prince etc, these companies will def try to sabotage idols who already don't have any freedom.
Pretty sure i've seen plenty of times hybe rejecting solo ads and roles/features to bts. They don't want them to be bigger or have more opportunities if things turn left. They also have their own fav members as you can see how they promote their solos. Akgaes are akgaes, but they also see what goes on the groups' fandom refuses to discuss which is why they turn into solo fans.

they also won a daesang for that song, something lsf will never have and dont mention that fradulent bought award for performance of the year or something from a ceremony no one cares about or takes seriously
and ofc they won't have the same numbers on spotify when they don't have company stans or token stanning armies using them to hate on other groups. lsf couldn't even chart on hot 100 or get those spotfy numbers obviously boosted by playlists, that gidle don't have, till hybe decided they want to replace nj with illit and fatman was bothered by nj success over his own produced group.
lsf never had that kind of recognition big 3 and gidle have. their songs never charted like that and perfect night doesn't count at all. drama outcharted them in the end and it didn't even show up on any korean rankings.
so their biggest korean song is anti fragile, the same year they debuted.
like what's the use of spotify stats if you can't even have a proper world tour and just go to asia and america?

if njz with their music that westerns would like and all their english speaking members couldn't break it the way bp and bts did (but tbf they never promoted there like that), no way illit would make it.
magnetic is just a song that tiktok would like for their background music, not the actual gp in the west.
the members are also bland af and only iroha and maybe yunah has some potential, but their lolita type of core would never work there.
these girls can't even gain a solid fandom in asia which is why they have yet to have a fanmeeting.
someone like lsf had more chances but these girls can't sing and the music quality is declining with every comeback. plus their lack of singing range and skills(only 2 members can sing) wouldn't allow them to release good songs anyway.

hybe is the only one who has connections, ww atention and payola, but they never care about singing skills and the quality of members they debut is severe (eunchae/moka/wonhee/kazuha. pretty much tws. trainee a was also bad). they don't have any vision and bts was just pure luck.
all they need to do is just look at bp since they can't do groups without copying. get 4(5 is the limit)charismatic pretty girls who can sing, dance and speak english and you're set.

illit only has magnetic to cling to and nothing else. i've seen salty comments on p%nnch%a saying mhj was bitter illit overtook nj but they never did an impact in a way the sensation nj were during their debut. those girls can thank hybe for payola bc without it they made no impression. ik njz also had that payola, but their success in korea is absolutely organic.
people love to use mhj hybe as an excuse why they flopped, but last time i checked they had one month before hybe made the beef public and they made no noise the way nj MEMBERS did. it was always the song itself being more famous than the group.
babymonster need to surpass illit and magnetic first
all illit have is magnetic stats and it's ONE song. outside of it baemon washes them in every category.
youtube, spotify, apple music, dedicated fandom, tours not just in korea but everywhere else.
the fact that they debuted on spotify global and charted 2 or 3 months(too lazy to check) on apple music without popular hits shows the dedicated fanbase they have. and that's without yg actually promoting them. look at what one performance at that gayo did and drip is still charting.
illit fanbase is small af outside armies and lsf stans and nj haters token stanning them. and it's only done to hate nj and get hit tweets, they don't even stream them as cherish flopped and couldn't even get 1m during release.
they had survival show and soon will be one year (so 2 years) and still haven't done a fan tour and any kind of tour.
while bm already performed at kspo. hybe knows numbers better than anyone which is why they have yet to have a fan meeting.

1)newjeans = probably hyein. haerin is an honorable mention but she gives more looks
2)ive = gaeul. just kick her out. serves nothing but a filler seat so yujin won't feel left out and be salty if wonyoung was always in the center during endings. i'd also kick leeseo out for her annoying voice tone.
3)aespa = giselle. fans pretend she doesn't stand out in a bad way only bc she's in the group, but had she been in lsf oh boy.
4)lsf = eunchae. no talent, no visuals, awful voice tone that ruins all their songs. got in thanks to connections or her rich family. even lsf fans don't f with like that as shown in ig followers. never seen hardcore eunchae only stans and that's a sign. everyone pretends to be nice bc she gets hate like the usual least popular member does(at least yunjin is one of the most followed and liked members on ig). garam should have been the maknae who stayed and not her with her frog looking ahh.
5)nmixx = bae. bad voice tone and average looks
6)blackpink = jisoo. overrated looks. should have been miyeon but miyeon didn't have rich parents
7)twice = dahyun. creepy smile and no talent. got in thanks to her fair skin she made her whole personality. chaeyoung too, even though she's pretty, ruins the vibe with her laziness and i dont wanna be here face. but dahyun is worse.
8)baemon = asa. overrated rap skills.
9)stayc = the whole group. awful voice tone and overrated discography. not surprised they flopped.
10)itzy= chaeryeong. another eunchae fans pretend to love but at least chaeryeong can sing.

1)babymonster is definitely cemented at least for now. like no other group, including 4th gen ggs, brings crazy youtube numbers. their charting in korea is also not bad despite yg giving them tacky songs and not promoting. they are the only 5th gg for now who will do great tour wise
2)kiss of life don't have the big 4 privilege and will fall to 4th or 5th after h2h and hybe new ggs debut
3)illit flopped with their first comeback in korea and internationally. they also don't have an actual big fanbase outside armies and fearnots token stanning them to hate on nj. those two only use this poor group and don't stream or support them. i can just feel their touring numbers being small.
it will be new big 3 once hearts2hearts and hybe two new girl groups will debut
i still feel like baemon will stay though and i don't even like them like that

they don't have number one level hits or enough recognition in korea but their fanbse is the only fanbase since bp that also gives you a lot of numbers - views, streaming numbers, votes etc
just look at their youtube channel.
they will be fine thanks to that fanbase.

And that's how i always felt before hybe and mhj war. Watched the first magnetic stage and immediately dropped them.
Other than that they're lucky they're in hybe. They don't look a group at all, don't mix in a group photo like others. I agree that newjeans members aren't extra ordinary but Hanni and Danielle are good and I enjoy watching them. Overall the group's chemistry is fine(visual wise and overall) which is why they achieved so much compared to other hybe girl groups. They may not have a Karina in their group but no member stands out in a very annoying way like other groups' members do.
