2nd Gen we had SNSD, 2ne1 and Wonder Girls
3rd Gen we had Red Velvet, Blackpink and Twice
4th Gen we had aespa, Newjeans and IVE
I think 5th gen we currently have Kiss Of Life, Baby Monster and Illit
with H2H coming and all these other groups I wonder how much will change by the end of year 
I think itโs debatable for Wonder Girls in 2nd Gen because T-ara/Kara/Sistar did do better later 
Babymonster, Illit, KOL currently guaranteed top3, but lets see can H2H, Meovv, Izna compete this year. Hybe was supposed to debut two new groups as well?

It's weird but it doesn't feel like we're in a new generation yet. It feels like the major 4th gen groups have just started and will be here for awhile. I don't see any of the so called 5th gen groups so far overtaking the major 4th gen groups . It feels like Ive, NewJeans, Aespa, Le Sserafim, and even Nmixx haven't hit their peaks yet. I think the only groups that might have reached their peak or close to it are Itzy, Gidle, and I feel nugu and tweener groups placements has been settled.

It's hard to believe these are the biggest 5th ggs in comparison with the other generations

And a 3 way tie between Wonder Girls/Kara/Sistar
Wonder Girls has a bigger peak with Tell Me/Nobody era.
Kara has a bigger overall fandom especially with their Japanese fandom
Sistar has a bigger GP popularity with consistent hits (9 consecutive No.1s)
T-ara would be next. They would fight for top 5 if not for that bitch Hwayoung

1)babymonster is definitely cemented at least for now. like no other group, including 4th gen ggs, brings crazy youtube numbers. their charting in korea is also not bad despite yg giving them tacky songs and not promoting. they are the only 5th gg for now who will do great tour wise
2)kiss of life don't have the big 4 privilege and will fall to 4th or 5th after h2h and hybe new ggs debut
3)illit flopped with their first comeback in korea and internationally. they also don't have an actual big fanbase outside armies and fearnots token stanning them to hate on nj. those two only use this poor group and don't stream or support them. i can just feel their touring numbers being small.
it will be new big 3 once hearts2hearts and hybe two new girl groups will debut
i still feel like baemon will stay though and i don't even like them like that

but i think thatโs us not accepting the change because 4th gen felt short the realty is 5th gen groups are present and growing!
babymonster is definitely ruling 5th gen but things could change up with h2h and the hybe girl groups.
but everyone keeps underestimating izna. i think they could truly be the underdogs of 5th gen. i mean they have it all as a group and with the right song and sound they could blow up in sk. iโd keep my eyes out for them.
