    Anyways op to answer your question, its fine if you dont see the hype. But I would say people like Jennie because she is beautiful, she is a triple threat, she is very captivating on stage, she cares for her members a lot, she is selfless, she is bold... I could honestly go on and on. She's amazing. You dont have to stan or see the hype, but this is what I think.

    I gave an opinion as someone totally new to KPOP who only usually listens to songs and I watched maybe two music videos


    I asked because I wanted to know why my opinion was so different if anything was missing - it’s just bc I’m not a “fan” that watches all their content

    Love their music

    But for me Lisa is the most appealing honestly

    I think she's tired of the physical toll of idol life. The Netflix documentary dedicated an entire segment on it, where Jennie basically admitted that the physical rigors are tough for her.

    I’m 1/2 months into kpop and I’m not a blink, I love their music, but I’m not interested in them as much as I am the newer groups, same with BTS, lofe their music (actually BP and BTS were the ones who introduced me into kpop) but I don’t get the hype about them either... I’m new to this “world” so I created my opinions on groups before even joining allkpop or kpop Twitter... so this is just my opinion with no idea on how loved they are by others


    And I was surprised to see HOW much love and hype Jennie gets...??? Like it’s actually shocked me because I don’t understand why???

    To me Jisoo is the most gorgeous of them all, very actress vibes

    Rose and Lisa - I prefer Rose’s face and energy she gives off, but Lisa has a very strong vibe too and I like it, very badass and she’s attractive

    Jennie I just se a cute girl she gives me a shy look, like the girl next door type of look


    If I were to order: Jisoo, Lisa, Rose, Jennie


    Can someone explain to me why she’s literally number 1 for everyone else haha

    Is it her looks? Because she looks average to me (maybe British and Korean beauty standards coming to play here)


    Is there something I am missing?? I’m new to getting to know groups actually I’m overwhelmed there’s too many and in each groups there’s loads of members but even they interest me more than BP :(

    I do agree that Lee Know deserves more center time but it really isn't Hyunijn's fault.

    JYPE is definitely trying to capitalize on Hyunjin's rising popularity since SKZ are in a need of a larger Korean fanbase but that push isn't extreme, imo, it's not like the group is known as Hyunjin and friends. From what I've seen, the rest of the dance line is also gaining popularity among Korean fans along with Hyunjin.

    Once they establish themselves more I think the members will get more equal opportunities.

Everyone else seems quite balanced, except Han who, imo, seems to have the largest slice of the pie. He's just not visually featured as much as Hyunjin. If Hyunjin got all of Han's parts, it would definitely be Hyunjin and friends.

    I 100% agree he literally is the eye catcher

    He’s the one who gets people talking and interested in them


    But I’m talking about how now it’s at the expense of other members now and it’s sad to see? Where the fuck was Lee Know in Gods Menu when he’s a main dancer or lead dancer or whatever hahaha make it make sense When Hyunjin has literally 3 solo parts in it
