The fact that people still have the guts to be homophobic assholes in this day and age is gross. I'm sick of the fact that members of the lgbtq+ community still have to feel unsafe walking down streets because people can't resist the temptation to be disgusting human beings. And the comments that people in my class make about people in our community makes me have absolutely no hope for future generations either, they're just slightly better at hiding it than before.

Like seriously!? Why are we resulting to violence over how this young man chooses to live his life when the way he lives isn't hurting anyone? Whether you support gay rights or not, it's the bare minimum of human decency to mind your own damn business if what someone is doing is not breaking the law or hurting others.

I don't know if Korea has hate crime laws, but they sure as hell should not leave this as a slap on the wrist.

Edit: Even this argument is flawed too since some countries still have being queer as illegal. Basic human rights, people. Basic human rights.

But his story is little silly and his wound doesn't look like a "hit on the face" wound. I've been in fights, that looks like a cut, not hit.

I simply disagree. I said my true feelings about his story but also acknowledged possibility of it being completely true and if that's the case the attacker must be punished. Maybe the wording wasn't the best, that is possible.

It's incredibly loaded to compare someone to one of the most infamous false accuser of the last decade. It rather directly draws parallels.

If you're unsure of the situation it's so easy to just go "I hope they resolve the case as quickly as possible" rather than compare someone to Smollett
