Okay but you can't improve if your teacher ends up acting like your bff. If you make a mistake, they can't be like "Oh honey sweetie, I'm so sorry! I'll make it easier for you..." like no...how is that going to help them improve at all?
You have to be tough. She probably simply learned from her dance mentor who was probably just as mean.

This is funny because antis said this last season, and Chinese people fell in love with her because of this.
Lisa is a nice and sweet person, but is very serious and strict about her craft...dancing. She wants idols to perform at their best.
If she was serious about her craft, her group members would be much better performers by now.

I'm watching closely since ep1 of YWY2 through current YWY3 and there were barely any moments when she was rude or incorrect
Maybe there was one moment when she should stand up, stay close near trainee show her dance moves and make her follow and correct her stance with hands.
As for YWY3 rather than shine head joke I would point when she kind of didn't sant to give A a guy who had amazing voice and performed two songs because in her opinion you must sing and dance. Some of you will point that she is right but actually after year of dancing training you can improve very much and became solid dancer when after year of singin training you can still be barely an inadequate vocalist.

If you're going to be cast as a dance teacher on a program, you damn well should already have an obligation towards your fellow group members to better the dancing. Otherwise, 'tis like putting the carriage before the horses.

I'm not against the method used, I'm against the motive behind the method. She was hamming it up because she could, because she thought those girls were beneath her.
She’s a mentor. Different dynamics. If she competed against them or became part of their group, she wouldn’t be like that.

It’s funny, because everyone else says what a good job she does as a mentor. All the trainees last year loved her and said how much they appreciated her constructive criticism. She is literally doing her job, not being mean, what’s the point in being a dance mentor if you aren’t going to tell people how to improve?

She didn't go there to act like a stereotypical cold rbf/giggly cute female idol or whatever persona is trendy these days. Nor was she there to make a few shocked faces, "savage" comments and sashay in and out.
She was there to mentor the girls and she did a darned good job. If she didn't criticise and correct them, once they debut the public will comment about those mistakes.
