KPOP Is Ruling The Charts Right Now (IVE With 2 Songs In Top 15)

There are 3 KPOP groups living in the TOP 5 right now of the Melon Top 100.

1. Big Bang

2. G-IDLE

3. Jay Park and IU

4. Red Velvet

5. Melomance

In the top 15, we have Taeyeon, STAYC, IVE, and Yena. Idk if people count IU as KPOP. So, that means about half of the Top 15 are KPOP artists.

Wow, seems like Korea's interest in KPOP has been reinvigorated.

I'm not sure if idol music will ever have its 2009 idol craze revival but it's doing better compared to recent years nonetheless

I didn't include Melomance or Jay Park/IU. Just Big Bang, GIDLE, Red Velvet, Taeyeon, STAYC, IVE, and Yena.

Hopefully KPOP groups continue to attract interest. Aespa hasn't comeback this year yet, so we'll probably have at least one more hit in them. BTS hasn't comeback yet. And Love Dive is still growing. Plus we have Le Sserafim queueing up.

I don't think Jay Park and IU are idol music tho. The song is Jay Park's and he's krnb. IU isn't kpop either. But maybe kpop is doing better in Korea or maybe it'll drop again. It's too soon to tell.

GP loves girl groups. I don't know why, but that's just the way it is barring a few exceptions.
