I'm sorry to hear that. The fact that the Grammy's keep screwing BTS over must be at least mildly infuriating. If you're going to pull a "well they just didn't nominate good enough BTS songs" card, I think last year (I didn't keep up with the Grammy's as much this year to be honest), they didn't just submit Dynamite to be nominated, they submitted all the songs/albums they made that year. The Grammy's then picked Dynamite (probably because it was in English, let's be honest). So it's not that BTS didn't submit good work, it's that the Grammy's didn't pick the good work they did submit because they couldn't understand it. I hope one day the Grammy's become more fair and less biased against other countries and ethnicities.

On a side note, congratulations to Doja Cat and SZA for winning, they deserve it! Have a great day/night!

Never going to happen since the voting body is basically musical peers who are biased. lolol. I’m sure many people in that room don’t even realize how massive BTS is compared to their American faves. The achievements of non-American artists will always be downplayed.

Honestly, i'm torn.

I had a lot of fun with some Armys today joking about Taelivia. But then i think back at all the BTS Paved The Way threads, and how some Armys would have lorded this over the rest of Kpop and made all of us feel small and loserish if they had won the Grammy. But then we have to add in the fact that as a KA myself, it wouldve been an awesome moment for many people of Korean and Asian descent, especially with how Asian American acts like Olivia and Bruno are getting so much love as well.

So in truth, i am kind of bolixed up right now.

What loss? BTS is literally sitting at awards shows as the kings of kpop, doing everything they want like touring for millions of people all around the world bc they are WORLDWIDE ARTISTS with a legacy that no other kpop artist has and i don't see it being surpassed neither i think this is a place of losers. On contrary, congrats to BTS for performing at Grammys and happy tour guys!!

Kidzbop won't be winning any grammys. A nomination is already a big achievement. Goodluck to them in military.

Most people don’t even know Olivia and Bruno are part Asian, so they’ll never receive the same type of criticisms as BTS. It is what it is unfortunately. BTS could literally break records by Michael Jackson and people will still find a way to downplay their success because they’re foreign.

In the end I think Doja did deserve it. Besides Kiss Me More, everything she’s released in the past few years have been A+ pop music.

congrats to Doja! i know she's been having a rough time lately and it was wonderful to see her feeling better (and funny) on stage again.

Did you see where Parasite won Best Picture at the Oscar’s a few years ago? Squid Game just won major awards at the Screen Actors Guild and Golden Globes. These were huge accomplishments.
