When they watch videos on toasts or hot dogs on the streets, they go "oooh this looks f*cking delicious but... su..gar? Ew" I've seen so many comments like these

I don't understand why they hate it but seems like they cannot understand the sugar combinationㅋㅋㅋ

2. Isn't bread their staple food just like rice is our staple food? If you put yourselves in their shoes, wouldn't it be the same as being repulsed over sprinkling sugar on your rice?

Oh! Interesting. I just assumed it was ketchup because of omurice, which is a Japanese thing but I thought Korea may have adopted the egg +ketchup combo for them. Still kinda weird, and probably wouldn't try it myself, but better than I originally thought lol.

I get the same reaction when I tell people I add sugar to my tomato soup though,and I always thought that was pretty common

Pretty sure some canned tomato soups have sugar. Like, I feel like last time I tried Campbell's tomato soup it was definitely kind of sweet.

I hate any sugar in salty foods. I don't even like any fruit or anything in salads or savoury/salty food.

I can get down with some sweet/savory things like chicken and waffles. I also like dipping my bacon/sausage in maple syrup when I have pancakes, waffles, or french toast.

But, I am with you on the whole no fruit in salads thing. I've never been interested in apples, pear, plums, mandarin oranges, or berries in my salad.
