Seventeen Members Get Admitted Into MBA Degree Graduate Program

Jeonghan, Woozi, and S.Coups pursuing a Master’s Degree in Business is very motivating to be honest.

I heard that multinational companies often look for people that have their MBA degrees, so their future is definitely looking bright. SVT company may or may not be possible in a distant future. 👀

It also genuinely baffles me how they were able to keep up academically despite having so much on their plates as celebrities. It makes me want to study harder and do better. They are definitely good examples for their fans. I am happy to see them pursue educational opportunities. I know many idols drop out during their youth to chase their dreams, but education is just as important as them pursuing their dreams to be on the stage.

I have always been that person to prepare a backup incase things don’t go the way I initially wanted. So, in my opinion, generally idol life isn’t always guaranteed for success, it’s not foreseeable— it’s a rare chance of luck that you hit big. Seventeen definitely got lucky for a group that’s not from Big 3. What I’m trying to say is, chase your dreams but carry your education with you along the way. Like Malcolm X said, “Education is the passport for the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today.”

Sort of unrelated, but this reminded me of that story of Jeonghan’s where he used to ditch his natural earth sciences major classes, then graduated with 3rd position in his class, then dropping out to now pursuing a master’s degree in business. His story really resonated with me tbh, and motivates me as well.

But imagine the qualifications in the scenario of them applying somewhere; MBA degree, their career perks such as good communication skills with people, influence, music creation and creative input both musically and in business prospective, and so on. I’m jealous.

Oh well, I guess that's the sad reality of these new gen rookie level nugu groups in the hugely oversaturated Kpop industry these days (Seventeen are similar to rookies success/fame-wise I mean, not seniority/age-wise). While Seventeen are relatively more famous/successful than their peers in that most K-Pop fans even heard of their name before, it's still a far cry from the relatively huge and objectively still pretty big success being part of a previously-big name company like Pledis would've likely gotten them in the past like 2nd generation groups.

The only one that seems insecure is yourself. Seventeen’s Top 3 BG status in the industry and their achievements won’t hinder or vanish because you seem to cry about it. Education never restrains oneself to a limit, instead, it opens up more routes. But, I guess we won’t be having that conversation because you don’t seem mature enough to have that talk.
