    It was rigged other years too, the one ty won even tho sm was always just 1award and the one year boa won even tho she barely sold anything and her digital points were 0compared to others

    Okay sma doesn't count singles so regardless of how good digitals bts had, there is no way they could beat all the physicals nct 127 sold. Also. 40% is 'judges criteria' which is why these winners might not make sense to most people. But to be fair butter and ptd weren't the best songs they released either. Film out was a bop but since that's Japanese it wouldn't get something the judges know about. I get that butter and ptd sound nice and puts people in a good mood, but it can't really compare to bts' korean lyrics and messages. I don't know about nct's work enough to judge but the pop songs bts put out this year are definitely not something that will impress judges.

    Most knets have the same question as many users in this forum. They don’t wonder about Butter not winning since it wasn’t a full album. But they wonder why Dream didn’t win a Bonsang when they won album of the year. Even with the 40% judges criteria….

    127 is about 6 points below dream and judges criteria is 40 points so it's not that big. At the end of the day there's no point in arguing since they don't make the judges criteria available. Though some other users mentioned that the winners were decided before the voting was over so: :pepewhat:

    yeah recorded acceptance speeches were done days before voting were closed. I know people say the kwave popularity award wasn’t questioned but Kai’s acceptance speech was not live….

    Voting closed for K wave a while back tho like more than a week back on the 16th…did voting for other categories close later on or something? For k wave there was plenty of time to record an acceptance speech.

    I don’t care that BTS didn’t win and congrats to NCT , but I am pretty sure the judges/people weren’t judging which song had more message. Butter and PTD despite “ not being the best songs they released either” acc to you have stats and good chart ranks and have won in other shows. If you think they are bad songs, just say so instead of bullshitting about how the judges would feel.

    Bts have the highest physical sales and digital last year which back up their daesang and dynamite is one of the biggest hit ever that netizens cannot argue with that.     Oh great another pick me, awards arent about your feelings or the message but stats and nct didnt have it to win over bts OR iu - a whole lot of bullshit just to complain about how you dont like bts's 2021 titles so they shouldnt get wins :pepe-clown-gear:
