But, they are still somehow going?
1. fromis_9: The growth on this group. I remember when they were barely selling like 20k an album. I was worried about them for awhile. And now, they are selling over 50k in 2 days!?
2. Momoland: They got a national hit like 2 years into their debut, but then they kept falling down the charts. Then, they had those back to back scandals, and members kept leaving. When Yeonwoo left, I thought they were done for.
3. Dreamcatcher: Once upon a time, they were a nugu group who were revamping their image into a rock K-POP group. I thought it was a fool's errand and too gimmicky to last. And now, look at them. They have proven that K-POP groups can be successful with really strong international fandom power alone.
4. KNK: Tbh, they are at death's door. They are still pretty much nugu, 2 members have left, and one just went to the military.
5. KARD: I was excited about the idea of KARD, and they had a few catchy songs. But, they never took off in Korea, and they pretty much kept making the same song over and over again. They started gaining a decent sized fanbase in South America. Enough to even tour, but they were more concerned with breaking out in Korea. Now, they have a member in military service, they haven't really released any new music since. I honestly completely forgot they existed until I learned BM is releasing some solo music soon.
6. Weki Meki: The last of the groups to debut after P101 season 1. There was so much hope for these groups, and Yoojung was one of the most popular IOI members. Yeah...somehow, things just did not go to plan. I can't see Weki Meki renewing, and if they do, I feel like Doyeon or Yoojung won't.
