Visual Battle Boy Groups: top 12+stats

Round 3 is over and now only 12 idols remain. The top 6.8%. You can't get this far on luck alone and all of them are at this point acknowledged visuals.

As an interim before the 4th round starts I decided it would be fun with some stats.

The twelve idols still in the competition:

Average age: 27.5

Oldest: Jaejoong 35 years old

Youngest: Jungkook 24 years old (Mingyu and Eunwoo are also born the same year)

Average debut year: 2012

Oldest group: TVXQ debuted in December 2003 and have just entered their 19th year (though Jaejoong left in 2010 and re-debuted as JYJ)

Newest group: Astro, NCT and SF9 all debuted 2016

Generations

2nd gen: 4

3rd gen: 8

4th gen: 0

Number of idols from each generation after Round 1:

2nd gen: 21 (18% remaining)

3th gen: 35 (23% remaining)

4th gen: 19 (0% remaining)

conclusion: 3rd gen idols have performed the best in the competition.

conclusion: Big 3 idols and non-Big 3 idols have preformed almost the same in the competition.

Average number of votes

Round 1: 45.8 votes

Round 2: 68.7 votes

Round 3: 52 votes

And since I saw two people discussing it here's their (official) height:

Average height: 180.4cm

Tallest: Rowoon 190cm

Shortest: Suho 173cm

And that was all.

Round 2 was open longer than Round 3 so it's not very weird that it had more votes. Round 1 having the smallest amount. of votes is also kinda expected too since there was a lot of threads and some of the groups barely has any fans on this forum. But here's to hoping the last couple rounds get a lot of votes.

I have honestly no idea. You'd have to redo the whole thing with the other system to be sure.

I do think at least one Skz and Txt member would have made it to round 4 if the voting worked as in normal polls. The complete lack of 4th gen idols in general I think is a result of the system, considering that there are more 4th gen stans on the forum than 2nd gen and some should have been able to make it on popularity alone.

And the fact that there are still some idols in the competition without any real fanbases on the forum is a good sign too.
