to be honest i think the lineup just need giselle to bring the A game in rap to the group

agree karina is a great rapper and vocalist

but i feel that if they added hyoyeon is to complete the dance line and rap line

because if vocals was the focus on the group and the GG isn't suppose to have rap part in their songs they would have choose yuri or maybe even sunny

but i guess yuri was pretty busy with her show and sunny have her variety show

i just think the lineup would have been even more flawless with giselle as a main rapper and hyo and karina as lead rapper

and the only aespa members who weren't involve in any SM project

considering that Ningning is already involve in the sm maknae project

and Giselle is involve in the Sm hip hop unit

but now everything make sens because when SM announce the collab for sm album i was surprise that winrina were left with nothing

and now Aespa have all their right to be here, this unit is here to represent SM GG it's totally normal to have members of aespa in it

and it's especially better than they decided to choose an equal member of each group to put in the project

and like SuperM they just choose the ace of each group to create this GG to make it the most perfect

Winrina are not there just because they were left with nothing or because of favoritism. They are talented and have most definitely proven their worth... plus it's barely been a year. We haven't seen their full range yet....

all the other members are members who prove to be the ace of their Groups that's why they are here

Like i said Giselle controversy was nothing in korea, and even koreans who learn about it didn't care at all

why would they care about international fans considering that this GG abviously target koreans, considering that they put Boa in it, and Boa isn't popular internationally

they took members who are huge currently in SK and doing well

and again even Ifans no longer care about this controversy considering that she apologize

so i don't see what's your need here to keep bringing this controversy, especially that you should understand this more than anyone considering that you stan bts '-'

She's a dancer and a lyricist too if I'm not wrong. No matter which way I see it she will add value to this group.

never say yoona isn't talented

but her main talent is dancer and we already have 4 main dancer and a lead dancer in the group, that's why i'm saying that she wouldn't add more value to the group talent wise

and in term of popularity, yes Yoona is very popular in korea for her visual, but her popularity among the GP never really translate in the musical project she's involve in, you just have to look at her solo release

so even in term of popularity she's not needed here

Taeyeon popularity is more oriented to her musical project, and people always listen to what she have to release

Red velvet members are stil popular among the GP too

and Aespa are the new trendy group where each release is a big even and every people listen to their new release just look how well a station song from them is doing

adding 2 members from each group is perfect, and Yoona even if she's talented and popular wouldn't add more value to the group objectively
