Idols you knew as actors before you knew them as singers?

Iu from scarlet heart. Literally had no idea she did music for years. Even now it's a bit weird for me when I see her being an idol. I still think of her as primarily an actress especially since I don't listen to her music but watch a lot of her dramas.

Hyunsik was from hwarang and strong woman. I was literally obsessed with him and tried to watch all his dramas. I didn't know he was an idol til I randomly watched a YouTube video series about the worst kpop companies highlighting his company and group. I've never watched any of his group's mvs or listened to their music. I fail to see him as an idol even though I know he is.

I thought he was japanese until two years ago when I got into kpop and found him there like a bad joke like my entire family believed he was a Japanese actor for some reason

Well he plays a Japanese person so makes sense lol.

Only reason I knew he wasn't is because I Googled him after seeing the movie...for scientific reasons.

Oh lol, I just assumed it was pronounced Infinite. But, knowing K-POP, you could be right.

Not an idol, but I had no idea that the actor Park Seojoon was also good in singing till I once heard him singing one song for a drama he played in that I watched before
