Why Gp999 fans thought Hybe will snatch their faves?

i mean honestly speaking yurina WOULD fit the sakura/chaewon/heo yunjin gg quite well and the group obviously hasnt full prepped their debut since theres no info on their debut. its a pipe dream yeah but i get why people want hybe to pick up someone. heo yunjin doesnt have much of a following left anyway so its not like it would be out of left field for them to include someone less popular than the all mighty sakura

Yaning and ruiqi would be a better choice based on their fandom power tbh but I doubt they will take chinese trainees.

HYBE took in Jaeho from To Be World Klass to compete in I-land, I don’t think it’s far fetched to expect them to look into some GP999 girls

Also HYBE got 3 Korean girl groups & a Japanese girl group coming down the line, so why not grab some let alone the more popular ones

I personally would love if at least 1 of Yurina, Ruiqi, or Yaning got recruited

I guess people will do anything when they're desperate

I would say she’s grown & don’t need her parents permission to continue her dream, but idk her situation over there. Totally different culture

Correction, they didn't take him. For I-land and Belift, trainees always have to audition even a trainee under a HYBE label has to, pretty certain Jaeho auditioned. Not that I would be against them taking anyone from GP999 but they didn't take any trainees from PD48 either despite the show being more popular, they immediately went for two of the most popular idols in one of the most popular GG's in Japan and Korea so more likely they'll take someone from Kep1er in the coming years if the group is successful. I personally don't see them taking anyone for Izone's GG since I'm pretty sure the line up was fixed the moment Minju said the no and they are preparing for debut, the only place I can see them maybe taking someone would be for the future Japan GG

I loved Yurina and she deserves to pursue her dream but I don't see why Hybe would invest in someone who didn't even managed to debut in the final line up. Sakura and Chaewon are from one of the most successul group of these past years and Sakura individual brand value is no joke. They don't need to feel too bad for Yurina, she still has her acting carrer in Japan and even if she decides to leave entertainment she won't suffer...she is from a rich familly lol.

It's like anyone can join HYBE nowadays but BIGHIT still only has 3 artists.

Yurina is still under contract under Oscar Promotion right? I wouldn't expect HYBE to buy out her contract or anything. Her individual fan base just isn't strong enough to be worth it. But if she became independent, I can see them consider taking her for that that future JP GG that was mentioned a while ago (although they might try for Mashiro instead after her group is done)
