It's kind of hard, APINK, SISTAR & Girls Day don't do well physical sales, but they definitely dominate the digital sales. We can see from the way they dominate the charts.

I don't think that we are gonna see that from now on. I don't count the Mnet or HYBE groups. They will also debut with a lot of exposure. One BIG3 girl group is always gonna be in the top 3 at least.

According to hybe stans and some other people hybe is bigger than big3 so they r as privileged if not more than big3. I don't think that group should be included at the same level as mid company ggs. That's why some call it big4 lol

Nah, as long as hybe is out there we won't witness a full dominance from big 3 companies whether it's about boy groups or girl groups

That was kind of iconic ngl. I think the closest we got to that recently was brave girls and OMG dominating digitals but I don't see that happening again tbh.

Yeah, in this new-gen selling 100K+ is like pretty normal, that why I said that. When looking at the chart this year, I think the highest non-big 3 GG on Kchart is Oh My Girl and their album also managed to surpass 100K

it's hard now. Now it is big 4 not big 3. Competition is more. 2015 also had exid; gfriend; mamamoo. in 2014; all big 3 and top girl groups were going through problems and were declining. Like snsd Jessica left; f(x) Sulli left on hiatus and Victoria went to China in 2015; 2ne1 Bom scandal; Miss-a was also not very active because Suzy individual works.

But now Twice; blackpink; red velvet all are doing well red velvet already past 7 years still active. Their sister groups are doing well too. Less space for new girl groups. Still we have many non big3 ggs doing well. in 2020 izone; oh my girl; gidle. in 2021- brave girls; oh my girl; stayc

also not to forget survival show girlgroups which started from 2015.

+90k sales. Almost 100k but maybe they surpassed it since then.

SNSD that year alone outsold all 3 groups combined in physical sales.
