It probably won't air until next year which would make them 13. I believe Taki from I-LAND was 13 as well.

You're right. Honestly not the first time I've mixed up their ages. 
Not thrilled that they've lowered the age then. I know it's only a year, but that's a lot of pressure on kids.

Wouldnt be surprised to find out that HYBE is talking with Msnake to work out which trainees will be "eliminated" from the GP999 competition so that they can be auditioned for these new girl groups including this I Land one and the Source one.
Doubt it. This will be a permanent group so they only accept hybe trainees or people who passed the auditions and dont have a company.

Oh my god I hope no 09 liners actually end up in iland.. The youngest I can take is 05/06, I am scared for those kids entering such a scary industry..
Other than that I am really excited. If the new gg has the good digitals and the good selling power as enhypen then it's going to get very interesting

I don’t think they variety was an Mnet one. They did have the Enhypen&Hi 1 and 2. And they have their own variety en-o’clock.
I was thinking earlier "damn... even the oldest possible contestants are 2000 liners, that's too young!" Then I realized 2000 liners are basically turning 22 next year. The age is already fair enough to debut. But 2009 is still too young. That kid from Psy's bg didn't even look like he actually belongs to the group.
Saw a comment on Reddit that the age requirements for the previous season were 1997-2008. Daniel was the youngest in I-land (born in 2006) so I really hope they won't let younger contestants enter the show.

I’m old even compared to my favs. Lol But for sure there gonna be idiots who gonna troll on the girls who not their favs. And there will be pressure in the program itself.
I remember when Taki became a leader in one of the round the pressure of it made him loose confidence. At the same time I think it showed that he wasn’t ready to debut yet so there is that.

If kai's sister didnt make it to GP999 final group, she will most likely joining this. Cant see her elsewhere unless she is going to join Sakura's group
