He is popular, but he's not the most popular so I think even if he leaves they will be mostly fine. WayV will take a hit, but Ten and Winwin are both hugely popular there and Xiaojun has definitely moved up to become a stan attractor since last year.
I said it before in the guild, but outside of his visual and his charisma on stage there's not gonna be a lot lost if they only perform with six members. They did just fine promoting Kick Back as five members without him (or Winwin) when he was in China.
While he's not my bias, I enjoy the hell out of Lucas and he's entertaining, but he's not a main vocalist, a main rapper, or a main dancer... they have more than enough (absolutely fully) capable members to fill in the gaps even if he leaves the group. Like even when you look at the overall picture of NCT... there's still a big, tall, kind of silly guy who likes take his shirt off so even there it's not a crippling blow.

You did not change your sig to that
He is just so prtty
-
-
Do fan girls ever care?
-
My opinion doesn't matter, the answer is it wont.
You could have simply said that then instead of taking a jab at fangirls for not cancelling a whole group of 23 member because of one person
-
unimportant?
LIAAA SHE LOOKS SO PRETTYYYYY

He is just so prtty
DOES HE HAVE THE BELLY BUTTON PIERCING??? THATS MY ONLY CONCERN

Well WayV is suppose to have a Full Album and repack like 127 this year and a new rumor i saw on twitter today said a NCT 2021 comeback (but its possible it might just be 1 NCT U unit, so Lucas probably isn't included).
Either way it depends on the schedule. Chances are SM will have 127 full album, Aespa comeback, 127 repack, then WayV Full album, but honestly who knows. Either way, he'll probably be off hiatus by the time WayV is ready for their comeback. -

Neither ten or winwin bar will supportn wayv with LC on it, dream and 127 have nothing to do with it bc they don't have LC, his bar sales are already so poor he affect nothing but reputation wise every channel on china is editing him and wayv out as we speak

His bellybutton is not vvisible

I don't know why you decided to quote me and reply with something completely unrelated to what I said.

His bellybutton is not vvisible
we should start a search party for it

No. NCT as a whole will be fine - he is neither a key vocalist, rapper or dancer. His role is primarily as visual and there are enough visuals across NCT for it not to be an issue, honestly. There are members where this would be a larger issue but honestly, he’s not one of them.
It will have no impact on 127 or Dream since he’s not in those groups.
I think this will be most impactful for WayV, but even there I believe they can absorb the loss. While he is popular and was very good at his role as visual and brought a nice spark to the group on stage, he is not a main or lead dancer, rapper or vocalist. His actual lines are limited within WayV songs and the Kick Back cb showed the members can continue without him since he hasn’t been in their promotions for months now. Ten and Winwin still have large and powerful fanbases (and Lucas’ absence could increase Winwin’s lines, which is a thing many are always pushing for), while Hendery, Xiaojun and Kun have worked on growing their own bases with increased social presence and activity. I think Ten, Xiaojun and Kun saw the biggest bumps in awareness from their Resonance work.
NCT sub-units have survived fan boycotts before (notably knetz around We Are Superhuman) and the international fanbase still sustained them until everything settled down.

He's definitely has big role as a center/visual though. For example what I notice is that he always has a lot of screentime in WayV's MVs (Especially in Turn Back Time MV in the second chorus part it's literally just him on screen lmao).
