Next level should win better longevity and Aespa are still charting better despite releasing before but Butter will probably win because it's Bts and Aespa have no physicals

I would also like to add - both songs are deserving of the title. They're both great songs in my opinion and they shine for different reasons.

Butter is indeed hit song everywhere, but imo in Korea NL had huge impact and it still has so I'll go with aespa, even tho I don't like NL lol

What change have GDA done?

Yeah, getting PAKs and music show wins, high digital points (not to mention the record breaking Hot100 streak) is nothing compared to celebrities dancing to your song. But not western celebrities, korean ones because it’s a Korean award. Remember that you guys lol

Anyway SOTY has always been more competitive and less predictable so I’m excited to see who will win. Good luck to all.

MAMA is more about who pays the highest songs that are outside the top 20 chart wise can still win it because they paid the most ;p

It’s pretty predictable right now looking at the criteria for the award shows. Celebrity and butter are the only contenders. Maybe NL can snatch a soty at KMA or AAA. That one is up for anybody
