Yes also love poem doesn't have a duplicate. I've also noticed that she also has the album version of palette's singles blocked from listening. So it's probably done at request🤔

i think blackyak photographer/editor is shit. very weird concept ideas and even worse direction
like... some of their pics are not bad at all but why on earth would anyone approve that first pic
including featurings right?
In Twitter, the above quote is being read as a shade against Blackpink.. I am not sure why.
I do think a better word than 'validation', would have been 'Western markets'.
But BP is not the only group trying tiktok, TV shows, events to achieve more exposure.
Or am I wrong.
But the nice thing is even so, Blinks are angry at the journalist, than IU.
are u ignoring stuff on purpose or what? if you saw the tweets and how blinks reacted, how didn't you see the reason?
jennie is obviously the one with the hbo cameo and the writer is ,quote directly from them, "a proud BP anti" with previous tweets accusing them of searching "western validation"
If you're interested :)
This fan made a tutorial to Help others go through ticketing. They counted seats, how many are remaining (for Saturday at least) and talked about factors that would make it difficult comparing it with previous years ( fanclub size among these)
They both individually are very good looking but they have literally zero chemistry
don't think they are even trying to do a couple photoshoot lol
just posing in the same frame
I mean, wasnt she at 95m or something gaon downloads "officially" back in 2017 already when the downloads numbers were still available? I think its pretty safe to say 100m is long passed, considering she's released 18(?) songs since, even if downloads overall have taken a huge hit.
yes but if gaon doesn't let us see anything besides the certifications it's not that "official", and even if that's the case you still can't claim anything
i don't want to say bs, but i think she officially passed 100M downloads with this?
Yes, digitals are the prevalent medium of music, that is why it would be only fans who would spend on a physical, which mostly they wouldn't be listening, just having as a collectible.
And yes, we can't determine the size of the fandom based on sales, because of bulk buying which will incorrectly show a larger fandom or crowd sourced buying, which will incorrectly show a smaller fandom.
But is there any other way to assess the fandom - but for physical sales?
Even providing for inaccuracies, it is the best metric for a fandom.
How is people turning up on every comeback for years not fandom tho? you can be a "fan" and not a "stan"
if someone can't afford merch are they not a fan?
More the physical sales, more the fandom.
is it tho? music consumption changes, 10 years ago maybe you would have been right but now digitals is the prevalent source of music... i don't think that fandom's bulk buys means you have a bigger fandom just a more devoted one. anyway a high% of those sales are outside of korea so it does not even matter
isn't the right question "why is one of the most popular act of the last decade just now escaping venues that barely listened artists in korea are seamlessly doing?" ?
that's honestly so smart... others should follow
She shouldn't have called zeze sexy
Domestic chart only uses Bugs, (Korean)Spotify, Flo, Melon, Genie - and now apple music.
Global Kpop chart includes all those + Spotify and YT I believe.
As for why they don't include korean Youtube, perhaps their not confident in it's ability to correctly confine it's chart data to South Korea only, or perhaps they want additional things to certify domestic, such as ULs (which the video from the Gaon Vice President makes clear they have, even if they don't include it themselves).
Another factor is YT music is by far the lowest revenue share per stream, and perhaps that's a point of contention, as GAON is a certified body for revenue distribution.
i know that's what i'm confused about if they use total streams from yt do they do the same for korean charts for the global chart? since they most probably use uls for their digital chart
cause why would they use 2 completely different type of data collection for the same chart
does this mean the digital chart and the global chart don't use the same data?
cause why would youtube be good for the global chart and not for the domestic one?KOREAN SALES on Twitter“Circle Chart has added Apple Music data to be reflected in the Digital Chart from Week 28 (this week), and the Global K-pop Chart from July 1. Below all the…twitter.com
overall? I don't know about IU, how many albums she sold?
lilac has 413k+
also, this is sorta why i added that "how they're credited in it".
i feel what you're saying is more relevant to OSTs than "collabs"
those are not comebacks and usually the artist and their agency have nothing to do with it, apart from lending their voice.
so whose is it? the singer or the drama production?
Yet that is what is pursued in all fields everywhere.
Theories, definitions that fit and therefore can predict, making human life easier.
K-pop is no exception. Why else are there so many metrics, charts and people interested in them?
We always seek to measure, define things,
what are you even saying... everything has exceptions and exceptions never stopped the world from categorizing things
Well I am looking for a definition of how songs are accredited to an act and considering different examples, not just one case or another. The ideal definition should fit all cases.
lol nothing fits everything, in whatever context.
but that's not the case you were discussing about nor is it something that happens regularly
no one doubts whose comebacks those are
