I agree and I think DO prefers doing more acting than singing though I'm sure he loves both seeing how he enlisted early just so he could be available to act in the 3rd movie of along with the gods and how he got booked for movies while he was still serving in the military.

I think DO's preference is acting for now, seeing how he's busy and he's still going to release music makes me feel like he's doing it mostly because it's expected of him as a main vocalist especially when Baekhyun and Chen both released multiple albums already.

By the time he finished his military service, Xiumin's music for his solo debut was complete but or DO, his next 3 movies had been confirmed so it shows what he wants more.

No, they do it differently, SM tries in their first 5-7 years before they push them aside as a group and push them forward as individuals.

Maybe he won't promote due to all the COVID spike. But also maybe he will be busy filming something and so won't promote.

He's filming a movie I think? So it's understandable. We should be thankful that we're getting the solo and not worry so much about the promotion.
