Are you sure this is supposed to be a trot song? The underlying beat doesn't seem to match. (But then again, a lot of trot depends on the vocalization patterns, so maybe...?)

I think I've never heard a trot song, so I don't know...
But...but... Stray Kids' I.N. loves trot...
Think of trot as somewhat similar to American Country music... it's the folk songs that they sing in the countryside, throughout the various farms and villages. Especially during harvest festivals and back-to-visit-grandparents holidays like Chuseok. (And if you've ever seen The Voice USA, you know how popular country music is in the U.S. - trot shares a similar status in South Korea. The finale of the Mr. Trot singing contest set the highest television record in SK ever.)
