Why do new kpop fans think BP are more iconic than SNSD?
-
-
Brave Girls outsold both.
-
Probably because newer kpop fans are more familiar with BP than SNSD.
Or some were introduced to kpop through BP, thus they're more biased towards them?
-
Because USA basically.

This is what happens when Drew_B crushes his aqua aerobics class and has had a full glass of Ensure. He starts getting cocky and feisty.

Why do new akp users think that Drew_B is more iconic than your below-average trash troll?

But BP America peak is no where near SNSD Korea and Japanese peak.
-
-
Just because they are new.
-
Nobody will talk f(x) with me. I could talk about f(x) for 48 straight hours before I needed a pause in between thoughts.

lmao i can't-

SNSD paved the way for your faves Time for new fans to realise that

no?
snsd's korea peak had them selling less than bp's hanteo numbers and snsd was always confined to that area.
a few thousand more fans in asia makes no difference when bp has millions of fans outside

Ask Jennie who's more iconic? She wont hesitate to say SNSD.
SNSD became the biggest girl group in Asia without BTS helping them unlike some other girl group from YG.

Because pop music of any genre is driven primarily by what is current and most are not familiar with anything outside their current frame of reference (i.e. older music.). Additionally, this forum is predominantly Western and BP have a much larger presence in the West than SNSD did.
I don't live in Korea, so can't really presume what people in Korea would say, but I strongly suspect you would get a different answer to your question depending on the age of the person you're talking to. Just like if you asked a 40 year old, 25 year old and 15 year old about iconic artists. When Prince died (who is a very very iconic artist IMO), I was shocked by the number of younger people who did not know who he was or why he was important. But then I realized there was a generation (or two) that had grown up and not known about him.

- BP has more internet coverage than SNSD
- Fans like to think their favs are the best and sometimes refuse to admit their favs aren't the best
-

Because it is a new gen, SNSD will be always the most iconic gg for the 2nd gen of kpop stans, but for 3rd gen and 4th gen that gets short in periods of time and are expanding costantly more than just Asia, will be BP, both will always be the biggest gg for each gen, you cant just base a fact/opinion on the past gens of SK or kpop stans, cause those past gens will die at some point, and the next one will take over. Also not people here liking the troll's feet to shade on BP and having a huge superiority complex to shit on others opinions, grow up.

I bet they didn’t even know SNSD
-
-
-
Because they don't know any better lol
Or because we don’t care? Your average BP fan probably doesn’t cross over musically with the average SNSD fan. “Gee” represents exactly the kind of GG Kpop music I don’t like, for example.
