I do wonder if they're rushing this now, knowing the longer they wait, the better the chances that they'll have to go head to head against GD. I do think they're overestimating GD's impact nowadays, i think BTS has supplanted him and BB as the reigning Kings of Kpop.

NGL though, i would love to see a head to head battle, GD vs BTS.

Even if this is extremely unlikely, hopefully we at least get a Lisa vs BTS battle.
